Born Free Bottle Review

January 6, 2011 By Melanie Roberts 3 Comments

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby carriage….once the baby gets here, you have a lot of decissions to make. What kind of diaper to use, to  nurse or not to nurse,  what kind of formula to feed and even what is the best bottle? Too many decissions to make for a new mom and dad and a lot of different answers.

I was asked to review “Born Free”. Hopefully my review will help you in deciding wich bottle is the best for your little one. I always want the best for my little ones, I’m sure you do, too.

What kind of Bottles does Born Free have in their collection?                                                                                       BornFree® leak proof BPA-Free baby bottles come in plastic or glass and feature an innovative venting system designed to promote Active Feeding™ and and help minimize the painful symptoms of colic

What makes Born Free better than any other bottle?

  •  *The Soft Silicone Nipples

  •  Available in 5 flow rates.

*The Inner Valve and Air Vent

Helps minimize colic symptoms by reducing vacuum build up.

*The Transparent BPA-Free Plastic

*Top Rack Dishwasher Safe

*Easy to Hold

Does your baby suffer from Colic? then you should give Born Free a try, the BornFree® Venting System simple two part venting system is specially designed to reduce the vacuum build-up inside bottles that often can lead to gas, spit-up and painful colic in newborns. The vent allows a continuous free flow of air into the nipple while the baby is feeding. The low pressure inside BornFree® bottle and cups is also medically acknowledged to reduce the risk of ear infections in babies and toddlers.

Born Free Combines naturally with breastfeeding; The free flow silicone air valve incorporated into the BornFree® Venting System breathes together with your feeding baby and starts a steady flow of liquid only when your baby suckles, just like breastfeeding. Active Feeding™, where babies control their own flow of milk, makes for a comfortable and easy feed for both of you while combining naturally with breastfeeding.

What did we think? We loved the bottles; now granted my toddler is a bit old for bottles, but I was fortuned to have a family member that just had a christmas baby and these bottles arrived just in time. My little test baby did wonderful with the bottles. Both the mom and I felt very comftible using these bottles, especially since we knew that these Born Free bottles are 100% Bisphenol- A free plastic, the bottles did not leak no matter how much we tried; we also loved the benefit that Born Free helps reduce colic and ear infections. We think Born Free is  a smart choice that any new parent should consider and we would recommend Born Free to any new mom and dad. Not every bottle is perfect for everyone, but Born Free Bottles are deffiantly worth a shot and afterall what do you have to loose? Maybe a Good Nights rest? If you have a fuzzy baby, make the switch and you may get some well needed rest, by  just changing bottles.

You can check out theseBPA Free bottles at Born Free and you can purchase Born Free BPA Free Bottles, Born Free Glas bottles as well as training cups at your favorite local retailer like Walmart, Target, babies’R’Us or check HERE to find a retailer near you. You can also check out Born Free on Twitter or Facebook; The Born Free 5 oz Twin pack ; retails for $18.99; the 9oz twin pack retails for $19.99 you can check out the entire Born Free product collection HERE

I was given a twin pack of Born Free 5oz bottles, in exchange for my honest review; all opinions are 100% my own, no other compensation was provided.
