Bialetti USA Pasta Pot {Review & Giveaway}

September 1, 2011 By Melanie Roberts 64 Comments

Have you seen the new Pasta Pots from Bialetti USA yet? They come in three awesome colors. Hubby is the chef in the house and he always complaints that he has to use too many dishes when he makes pasta dishes or anything else. I thought I would surprise him with the new Bialetti Orange 5qt pasta pot.

When it arrived I was super excited to present it to hubby. Not only is the pot bright orange and will match our pots and pans, but it is also non-stick interior and has silicone lacquer on the exterior. The handles are heat-resistant and the best part…. the lid locks in place letting you drain your water without getting burned. I loved that feature.

The pot is not completely round rather than an oval shape so you can fit all your favorite pasta shapes inside. We actually have used the pot many times the last few weeks from pasta to vegetables, corn and anything else that needs to cook in water and be drained. AWESOME product.

The only thing I wish, that they had different sizes and I could get one in each size to match my pasta pot. They are awesome! The pot itself is very durable and high quality. I’m in love.

Some information about Bialetti and the cool new pasta pot:
Bialetti, the leading Italian coffee and cookware brand known for its forward thinking in both innovation and style, today announced the 2011 colors for its Italian line of Pasta Pots. Reinforcing Bialetti’s commitment to quality, innovation and style, the world’s original 5-quart Pasta Pots feature a comfortable and oversized, ergonomic, heat-resistant handle and convenient non-stick interior coating and is available in three colors: Purple Passion, Blue Cheer and Orange Spice—three of 2011’s hottest colors.

Featuring a distinctive oval shape, they are designed to handle the length of uncooked spaghetti and lasagna noodles without breakage. The hi-temp exterior finish coupled with the bright colors of Purple Passion, Blue Cheer and Orange Spice makes the Pasta Pots both durable and eye-catching.

When in use, the Pasta Pots feature an innovative lock-on lid with built-in strainer, eliminating the need for a colander. The pots are made of aluminum to allow for advanced heat conduction and safe handling when cooking. A non-stick interior contributes to evenly cooked pasta every time.

The Pasta Pots are available in a 5-quart size at specialty and gourmet stores nationwide with a suggested retail price of $29.99.

    I always manage to burn myself when we make pasta and I’m trying to drain the noodles in the sink with my plastic strainer. We make pasta at least once a week so this would get a lot of use.
