Book Review – Little Star by Anthony DeStefano

in Book Review, Christmas Gift guide

A king is about to be born! The stars in the heavens are competing to shine the brightest to celebrate his birth. But when they see the poor family, the donkey, the shabby stable, the star all think “THAT Can’t possible be a king, we’ve been fooled.” All except one…….

This wonderful Christmas book called Little Star, written by Anthony DeStefano and Illustrated by Mark Elliott is a wonderful edition to any Christmas Book collection and for any little boy or girl or anyone with love of Christmas.

This story brings a message of love and believing and hope to little ones. I had a great time reading this book with my Toddler and explaining to her the story of the little star, who was being ignored by so many, until this one day when a poor baby was born and no one believed, that he was the king, but the little star.

Little star gave all his hope and love and light to warm the baby and make himself noticed, because he believed. This is such a warm and fuzzy story and it makes it easy to help the little ones understand the meaning of Christmas.

I loved the pictures in this book, clean and clear and just wonderful colors. Anthony DeStefano did a great job writing the story and Mark Elliott did an amazing job creating the story in pictures. This is an amazing Christmas book and I’m blessed to have had the chance to review it and bring it to you guys. If you are looking for a Christmas book to give as a present or add to your library, I would defiantly suggest you take a look at this one.

This book retails for $12.99 and can be purchased through Amazon.com or any other local or online Book Store.

Here is a video of Pat Boone reading the book to a group of children; I love this video, it’s just wonderful to hear this book read out lout and you can also check out some of the wonderful pictures I been telling ya all about. Enjoy

I have always been partial to books about Christmas. Of all the things in this world, books still have a way of taking me away to a different place or time and I forget all my troubles. I relaxes me and I get the best sleep after reading a good book.
