If you have a little Baker in the family, this Cake Pop Maker should be on the Wish List. It’s a super cool and totally new thing for kids to enjoy. Best part… NO heat, NO burning!
When this Cake Pop Maker arrived, my Princess was in heaven. She had been asking for a Magic Oven for month and I just didn’t had the room to store yet another “bulky item. This Cake Pop Maker is a perfect solution; it will not take up much room at all and can be totally de-assembled within minutes and put back together just as fast as well. All parts if needed will also be able to go into the dishwasher to keep them nice and clean for future baking enjoyment.
So far I’m loving the convenience of this Cake Pop Maker; my Princess is 4 and she was able to make her very own Cake pops in minutes; well… once they are done they have to hang out in the Fridge for like 15 minutes to set; then you are ready to decorate them or eat them just the way they are…like I did.
Mixing your batter was super easy and my 4 year old was able to do it on her own; just add 2 table Spoons of water to the mix and stir well… Done!
Once the batter is done, fill the top of the Cake Pop Maker and you are ready to fill your cake pop molds; add the pop sticks and place in the fridge for 15 minutes to set…. you are done!! That’s it. Super easy and quick; no mess, no fuss and when all done place in the dishwasher for next time.
Once your pops are all done it’s time to decorate, or so was the plan. Our Cake Pops never made it to decorating. We ate it as soon as we pulled them out of the fridge…lol. But the possibilities are endless and all included in the package.
We all loved the cake pops and yes, they aren’t anything close to a real cake or cake pop, but perfect for the little ones to make their very own; without heat and burning their little fingers. All in all, it is a fun Cake Pop Maker and will be perfect for ages 4 and up. This Cake Pop maker retails for $24.99 and refills can be purchased for about $7 through Amazon.com or any of your favorite retailer like Walmart.com , Target or Toys’R’Us.

The refills seem kind of expensive is there an easy DIY receipe?
Melanie Roberts says
I haven’t figured one out yet, they are in the same price range as all the other refills for “baking” stuff, but I’m trying to see if I can come up with something soon

This is the same issue I’m having. I don’t like paying 7 a piece for the refills, If you find out a DIY recipe, please post!
Elke says
I am having the same issue, and have been trying to “google” an answer. Looks like we will have to develop our own recipe! By the ingredient list, I see than baking soda makes it cake-like, and gelatin makes it cool-bake. Any other insights? Has anyone else had any luck? Be sure to post it!
Melanie Roberts says
Thanks Elke… I will also keep an eye out for some recipes; after the holidays and hope to find some “none” bake ideas.. I will keep ya all posted; but would love to hear anyone elses ideas…

I made some Chocolate Truffles the other day, no bake and was thinking this may work well with the Cake Pop Maker; if the batter is a bit too thick you could add a splash of milk or extra Cream Cheese, but the consistency sure worked well if not better. Give that a try, my link is here http://twoboysonegirlandacrazymom.com/no-bake-oreo-cookie-truffles-delicious/ I would make small batches or grind the cookies all up and keep them in a closed bowl for future use if not used all at once.
