Colorforms and Amazon.com….what an experience #CBIAS

I love to find cool products and Christmas is just around the corner. I was asked the other day to check out Colorforms. I had no clue how and what Colorforms are? I can honestly say, I had never heard of the company or the product. So, went to my beloved Google.com and tried to find out as much as I could about Colorforms.

Well, I guess a lot of you already know what Colorforms are… unfortunately I’m German and we didn’t had those at all. I was excited to find out that Colorforms has a ton of cool products from board games to sticker boards and they all come in wonderful learning opportunities like “Dress up” “Weather” or just in your favorite Characters.

After finding out what Colorforms was all about, I went straight to Amazon.com to see if I can find some for my Toddler. These would be great for learning at home or in the car. As most of you know, Amazon.com is my all-time favorite store; anytime I need a toy, or product I search on Amazon first, check on the price, maybe find a deal and always read the reviews of products, even the ones I’m reviewing here on the blog. I want to know what others think of a product and what their concerns are before I make my own picture and then decide if I have an issue with the product as well or if we really love it.

Amazon.com recently changed their website; I’m not a big fan of the new design, but I guess it’s just because it’s new. I don’t do well with change and I’m so used to the old Amazon.com; I know I will be fine and adjust well. All my normal stuff is in it’s place. I can search, check my shopping cart, my gift card balance or my last order status. I just love how easy it is to maneuver around and how fast I can research a product. So off to Amazon I went.

I found a bunch of Colorforms products and spend quit some time deciding on a few for my Toddler.

I had no clue that there are so many different Colorforms products, all ranging in price from $5 and up;  not a bad deal at all. Best part anytime you order on Amazon.com, if you spend more than $25 shipping is always FREE and you don’t have any sales tax!!! Even better.

Amazon

Once I added the items to my cart, I did one final check of my cart and removed anything I did not want or looked at products a little closer to make my final decision. Once I had the Colorforms products that I wanted, I checked out. Very simple; It gave me a few payment options like Credit Card or debit card and also offer  Store Credit card or Amazon Visa; Since I already have an amazon Visa, it showed me my reward points that I instantly had available for checkout towards my purchase if I would like to use them. No more waiting till you hit 2500 points to cash out.. nope, every point counts and can be used immediately.. LOVE IT!!

Once I decided on a payment method I was directed to the final check out page, where yet again, I was able to check my order and decide on a delivery option. Once I was happy with my order, I hit the Purchase button and immediately after I placed the order I received a Delivery Estimated date. LOVE that!!  I love to know when I can expect my order.

I also received e-mail notification of my order as well once my order shipped. I love that I can track my order every step from the minute I place the order till it arrives at my door. I have ordered numerous orders from Amazon and only had to complain once; but it was for a third party.. again then Amazon did what they do best.. Make the Costumer Happy and they refunded my money.. no questions asked… What more can I ask for?  I know this holiday Season I will do probly 90% of my shopping on Amazon.com; just like the last few years. I will always get the best price and no hassle in the store.. I can sit in my PJ’s and shop.. the orders arrive in a  brown box and the kids won’t know what’s in it.. win win for all….!!

We’ve also created a short MyThisMoment Story for Amazon and Colorforms.. be sure to check it out below.

Would love to hear your thoughts on Amazon.com or even Colorforms. I’m still waiting for our Colorforms to arrive, so I still don’t know much about them (*but will defiantly updated this post as soon as I get the Colorforms products in).. would love to hear how you like them and if your kids enjoy the Colorforms products? Are you an Amazon.com addict, too? tell me.. would love to hear it…

UPDATE:
My Coloroform products from Amazon.com arrived a few weeks ago and my Toddler  snug one box away from me; the rest I put away for Christmas; but I took some pictures and totally love the product. The die cuts are very sturdy and easy for little hands to grab; the game can be played in many different ways; there are directions in the box, but we come up with our own rules; depending on what I’m working on with the Toddler; color, clothing or weather. We are having a blast; best part, this game can be used over and over and each time it will be different.

Thanks! I just looked this up and see what I will be getting for my grandkids for Christmas. I have been asking in stores like Toys R Us and nothing. Tell me, why the heck don’t stores carry them? I love them!
