As families prepare to hit the road for Labor Day weekend (nearly 33 million Americans are expected to travel, according to AAA), PBS KIDS is launching DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD: Play at Home with Daniel, an app based on DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD, inspired by the work of Fred Rogers, which premieres on PBS KIDS on Monday, September 3! 

As kids are prepping for back to school, the app makes the series’ social-emotional school readiness curriculum available to parents and children on the go.  In the app, kids play with Daniel Tiger as he goes about his everyday activities, learning life’s little lessons along the way in the games “Doctor Daniel,” “Daniel’s Bedtime” and “In Daniel’s Bathroom.”

The DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD: Play at Home with Daniel App is available for $1.99 for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
