The Holidays are upon us and I’m sure the first Christmas Party invites are rolling in. I just received our office party invite and the next party invite is already in the mail as well, I’m sure. But what to wear? If you are like me, you will probly try on 50 different outfits and still not end up with an outfit that you adore. No worries, I think I figured out the #ArtofFashion and found an easy way to look classy, dressy and be comfy at any Holiday Party you are invited to this Season. 

Come along and check out some of the styles that I picked out for my many holiday parties. I don’t buy just for a day, I don’t buy my outfits for a season; my outfits will have to last me all year from office wear to evening party time as well as casual Friday and anything I wear will have to be as comfy as my favorite pair of PJ’s, yet look stylish to go to any dinner party.

I created a Catalog on Shop Your Way with searsStyle that I liked to see what products I could expect in store and what styles they had available. Best part, I would be able to purchase them right then and there through my Shop Your Way Rewards account and have it shipped or if available, picked up in store. I decided to check out the selection in store, I was kind of in a bind, since my first Holiday Party is just a few days away and didn’t want to risk the outfit not being as expected.

Isn’t that a super cool way to shop and compare your style? It’s almost like a scrapbook that will keep everything you like in one place until you are ready to purchase. Ahhhh, the possibilities and outfits I could put together. 

Once I arrived at Sears, I strolled the store to check out all the products I had added to my Shop Your Way catalog and actually ended up purchasing quite a few of the items selected. I must have spend a few hours in Sears, I couldn’t believe how affordable the outfits where and the selection available.

Let me give you a little tip in how to put together a simple, elegant and very affordable outfit. Add a pair of black slacks, a nice comfy pair of Jeans and a pair of black heels to your closet; once you have that, your wardrobe is pretty much set for any occasion.

I love to buy tops that I can pair with Jeans as well as with my dress pants for the office; making every top you choose versatile for being a casual item as well as a dressy item. Everything I own can be worn to the office during the day with a nice pair of slacks, but I can also tone it down and still look like a million bucks for a dinner party or casual day.

I ended up with 1 pair of black heels, 3 tops and a cardigan and spend just over $90; each piece was under $20 and I ended up with 8 different outfit combinations. How super cool is that? Add a little accessory like a scarf or a necklace and your outfit will take on a different dimension, yet it won’t break your bank.

Not only are the items I choose comfy and totally my Style, but they are very versatile for office attire or Holiday Party; very little effort will turn nothing fancy into something dressy. I just love to mix and match tops with a simple black slack or a comfy Jeans and still look like I spend big bucks on my outfit; yet, my pocket book will show you a different story.

Looking classy shouldn’t be expensive nor take you days to put together; very simple to do and I guarantee anyone can do it. Just pick your favorite top and off to the Family Get Together or Office party you go. Dressed for success shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg and Sears definitely was able to proof that to me during my shopping trip.

I also love how easy these simple outfits are to keep clean; I don’t iron nor do I dry clean; nope…. everything I own will go into the washer, if it won’t make it, it wasn’t worth it. So I’m all for simple, easy and comfy, yet I don’t look like I just crawled out of bed; spend very little and still feel like I’m stylish and ready for any occasion; what do you think?
