Handstand Kids Baking Around the World Cookbook Kit

We just LOVE the Handstand Kids.. have you heard of them before? The books are soo much fun and kids can create amazing dinners, desserts or breakfast items in a fun and kid friendly way. The Handstand Kids books are all easy to understand in colorful illustrations. We LOVE the books.

The newest edition is the Handstand Kids Baking Around the World Cookbook Kit by Yvette Garfield and designed by Kyumi Christensen. This book has amazing recipes from all over the world like French Pots de Crème, Middle Eastern Date Bars, Cupcakes, cakes and many more recipes from all around the world. This book was wonderful for my kids to see different culture and what desserts they create in different countries. The 5 amazing Handstand kids, Izzy, Felix, Gabby, Marvin and Ari show you around their country and all have fun creating a yummy dish. There are 52 colorful and beautifully illustrated pages in this book from Cakes to pies to muffins, I’m sure there is something for everyone; another bonus, the book comes with a whisk and 4 silicon muffin cups.. which we LOVED!!

My Tween is the chef in the house and he decided to surprise us with a yummy dessert; he made the Dutch Apple Crisp; it was delicious and he was able to make it on his own, with ingredients that we already had on hand.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine oats, flour, cinnamon, salt and butter. Mix the butter in with your hands to make a coarse, crumbly mixture.
  4. Pour remaining 1/2 cup agave nectar or honey over oat mixture and spread evenly over apples.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes until top is golden brown. Cool for 15 minutes and serve.

Super easy and sooo yummy; my Tween enjoyed making dessert for us and I loved having the Handstand Kids around the house helping him. Wonderful book that should be in every kitchen.
