NEW LunchBlox Food Storage Containers

It’s off to school my kids go today and as a super Mom I made their lunch this morning. Looking around the store the other day  to find enough “storage” bags, containers and whatnot to hold my growing boys lunch was a challenge. There was a lot to choose from and super cool stuff, too. BUT…. how will all fit into a small lunchbox…TOGETHER?? I looked at drink bottles, sandwich boxes, and many other things and tried to fit them all inside ONE lunchbox, and I just couldn’t find anything big enough to put just a few lunch and snack items into one bag. A bid disappointed and almost gave up thinking I would let them get school lunch I ran across the new Rubbermaid “Lunch Blox”. They looked super cool, neatly stacked and looked like they would fit into a regular size lunchbox with lots of snack space to spare.

Rubbermaid LunchBlox

I found out by looking at the packaging that Rubbermaid’s Lunch Blox have many cool features like:

    • Modular containers snap together in to save space in your lunch bag
    • Kit includes specially designed Blue Ice™ pack that works with LunchBlox containers to keep
      lunches chilled on the go
    • Containers are perfectly portioned for lunch foods commonly carried away from home
    • Microwave-, dishwasher- and freezer-safe and BPA-free
    • The Sandwich Kit includes a sandwich container sized for regular and specialty breads, two snack
containers (perfect for yogurt or nuts) and a snack container (perfect for fruits, vegetables and
      chips)

I was super excited and decided to grab a few of the LunchBlox Sandwich Kits, after all, I have three kids and a hubby who wanted the LunchBlox Salad kit and now everyone can go of to school (or work) in style with enough food that will last them all day.

The containers are the perfect size, very durable and seal tight, which is very important for a 4 year old that tosses around her lunchbox.

I would use it for work. I hate wasting plastic bags everyday.

I would use it to bring lunch to work. This would be much better than a paper sack!

What a nice organized lunch we could make – I think my daughter would end up with the prize and then I would have to get more for everyone else.
