LunchBox Tuesday: SnackTaxi Review & Giveaway

What a cool name… Have you heard of the SnackTaxi yet? They are reusable Lunch or snack sacks; I love the idea of re-using things and hate to spend all the money on plastic baggies, to me that’s always a waste and I crinch every time I pull one of those plastic baggies out of the cabinet. I found this company called Snack taxi and they create wonderful pouches that are completely made out of fabric and are washable; Check out the ones we received.

I was very impressed about how well made they are; all the seams are perfect and not one string is hanging; I loved the craftsmanship of these; They are the perfect size for a Toddler or even a Tween to take lunch and snack to school or pre-school; just make sure they don’t toss it.. J The Velcro was very well attached and closes easily and tight; the only thing I would suggest that they add a name tag somewhere on the Snack taxi’s so it will be easier for the kids to identify them or even if they would have been left behind in the lunchroom, everyone would know who this Snack taxi belongs to; other than that I’m very pleased with this product; a wonderful idea from a Mom for a Mom.

Some info about the creator of snack taxi so you get an idea how they got to this wonderful product that they have today J

Erin Kelly-Dill is the owner of SnackTaxi and this is what she has to say about herself and her Snack taxi’s:
I invented SnackTAXIs way back in 2003 as a way to stem the tide of plastic ziplock bags that flowed from our house to the landfill when our 3 kids started school! We pack over 500 lunches every year, and had definitely fallen prey to the easy appeal of the ziplock bag. SnackTAXIs are easy too – really! They are made in our home-based workshop by talented (and fun!) local sewers – we are committed to keeping our business local, and will never outsource our labor.

I know you want one, two you probly need at least 5+ per kid J so head on over to SnackTaxi and check out their HUGE selection of fabric and different size of the SnackTaxi’s; I know there is something for everyone to love.. best part you pay once and that’s it.. never ever will you toss your hard earned cash out of the window… wash and re-use… your wallet and the environment will thank you…J We LOVE the SnackTaxi products… they are simple yet too cool…. J
