I was totally excited to hear that Space Bags has a new product with “lavender Scent”. I just had to try it. I’ve used Space Bags before and just never had much luck, for some reason they always had either issues with the zipper or the hole for the vacuum attachment. They are a great product if it works. I was up for the challenge to give the new Lavender Scent bags a try and see if any new improvements have been made to improve the bags.

I received two bags the other day, the Jumbo and the Extra large bag. The first thing I saw that was different, the color. They have a purple tent to them and the smell is wonderful. I loved the smell. The Jumbo bag was big enough for me to crawl in, I soo wanted to do that just to see if I actual fit in and get some more of the wonderful Lavender smell… BUT… I didn’t crawl in… J

I did get some cloth for my Toddler from the neighbor the other day and I thought these would be perfect to test out the bags. With spring upon us, everyone moves winter cloth into storage and brings in summer cloth. These bags would be perfect to store all your winter clothing, blankets and pillows.

The Jumbo bag was actually a little too big for all the cloth, but it still went well for the test. Check out all those cloth from the tub fit in the bag and made it small enough to fit under the bed, eliminating the need to find storage in my tinny house for the big tub. I love to utilize every space in my house and be organized, this is a big plus.

As you can see, the big Tub would not fit under the bed, and you can also see how much I actually had in the tub that needs to be stored under the bed. Let’s see if the Space bags were able to get my problem solved.

I’m excited, all of the cloth got small enough and I was able to store them under my bed now!!!!! As another test I used the Extra Large bag and put two pillows in to show you how small two pillows would be, check this out.

I Loved it.. it truly is amazing; another thing I noticed, the company changed the opening for the vacuum; I love it. The old vacuum opening always tended to “suck” in the plastic seal part making it almost impossible to get a good vacuum seal and keep the air out, then the cap was hard to put on and between the rubber seal and the cap fight I had all the air back in the product. The new opening has an attached cap and no rubber piece that could come out to seal. WONDERFUL. Check it out.

I was really impressed with the new bag and now 2 days later the bag is still air tight and to me a lot better quality than the bags I used to have. This is defiantly a positive improvement and I would highly recommend the Space bags to any of you to save space and put your “old” winter cloth out of the way.
