Monte Carlo

I watched the movie Monte Carlo with my Tween the other day and I must admit; this was a wonderful movie for a mother/Tween movie night. I loved the “youth” in the movie yet it was a fun story line; for us, it was very interesting because they traveled to Europe, which is on our agenda for next summer…..Monte Carlo Postcard #4

Bon Voyage! Take a journey across the ocean with a trio of friends who make front page headlines when a dream trip turns into a hilarious case of mistaken identity. The delightful jet-setting comedy MONTE CARLO arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on October 18th. Produced by Academy Award®-winner Nicole Kidman* (Moulin Rouge, The Stepford Wives), MONTE CARLO will take you on a fanciful ride through the picturesque sights of Europe – with three charming girls in tow!

Actress and pop sensation Selena Gomez (Ramona and Beezus, “Wizards of Waverly Place”) lights up the screen as Grace, a high-spirited high school graduate looking forward to a vacation in Paris with her best friend Emma (Katie Cassidy, “Melrose Place”), and stepsister Meg (Leighton Meester, “Gossip Girl”). Just as the girls think their trip is ruined when their hyperactive tour guide leaves them behind, Grace is mistaken for a wealthy socialite and the trio is whisked away to Monte Carlo for a thrilling week of glitz, glam, and unforgettable fun.

MONTE CARLO features supporting performances by Cory Monteith (“Glee”), Pierre Boulanger (Monsieur Ibrahim), Luke Bracey (Home And Away), and Andie McDowell (Groundhog Day).

HOW did we like the movie?
WE LOVED IT!!!  it was a fun movie for the entire family to watch, enjoy and spend time together. My Tween loved it and it was funny to boot. The story line was great and it was a lot of fun to see what kind of adventures the tree girl had gotten themselves into and even landing in Monte Carlo… now you are probly wondering on how they end up in Monte Carlo when the trip was to Paris…. You have to see the movie to figure that out. So grab Hubby, the kids or your girlfriends and enjoy a nice cup of coffee while following the fun and adventures Three American girls endeavor in Europe; I know you will like it. This movie is also perfect for a Girl’s sleepover…. so grab the sleeping bag and some popcorn and enjoy Selena Gomez in this Crazy yet Funny movie. *Be ware this is a chick flick…lol*…. but I loved every minute of it. I was able to turn of my brain and just enjoy the movie without thinking and trying to remember what happened how, where and what…. just to keep up with the story. NOPE, the 109 minutes that this movie actually runs flew by like nothing… LOVED IT!!

This movie will be released on DVD October 18th and can be purchased through Amazon.com or any of your favorite movie retailer.

I received an early release copy for my honest review; all opinions are 100% my own and no other compensation was nor will be received.
