Movie Review: Flipped

My Tween and I had a “date” night and going to the movies is quit expensive so we grabbed one movie and had  a wonderful “Mom and son”  evening. Together with Popcorn, candy and lots of Hot Cocoa. Movie of choice was

Flipped Blu-Ray/ DVD Combo

This is a fun movie it reminded me of the movie “My Girl”… a real wonderful story.When second-grader Bryce and Julie first meet, Juli knows it’s love. Bryce isn’t so sure. Beginning that day, and for the next six years, young Bryce does everything he can to keep his out-spoken wannabe girlfriend at arm’s length and the smart, independent-minded Juli continues to give him the benefit of the doubt. This tender coming-of-age romantic comedy from director Rob Reiner takes the pair from grade school to junior high, through triumph and disaster, family drama and first love, as they make discoveries that will define who they are- and who they are to each other.

My Tween ( and I did as well..) had a great time and enjoyed this movie a lot, so much that he has watched it 3 times the past week. It is a great family movie that can be enjoyed by my Toddler as well as my Teen.

The movie cast includes,Callan McAuliffe and  Aidan Quinn, this movie was directed by  Rob Reiner. I think it was well done, and very enjoyable movie.

If you are still looking for a stocking stuffer for your sister or Tween son, I think this movie would be a great choice, you can own your own copy on DVD now and this can be purchased through Amazon.com or Walmart.com as well as any local retailer that carries DVD or Blu Ray; this Blu-Ray/ DVD Combo retails for $35.99;

I was provided with the movie reviewed above by the PR or Warner Bros. for my honest review. All opinions are 100% my own and no other compensation was provided.

Thanks for the great information. My nephew would like this or my friends son. I am not up on this age group. It is nice to know there is a book, too. That would be nice to go with it. Great review.
