Movie Review: Going The Distance

Are you looking for  a funny and good movie for a date night with hubby?? Why not check out Going the Distance ?

I had to admit, this movie is not at all a kids movie, and I apologize  about that ahead of time. I wasn’t aware that this movie was rated “R” until we got it. But this movie worked beautiful for a date night. And after all, we all need a date night once in a while.

So after the kids are asleep get some Popcorn and maybe some Rum and coke or Strawberry Daiquiri  and snuggle up with Hubby on the couch.

The movie cast includes Drew Barrymore, Justin Long as well as Christina Applegate.

Erin (Drew Barrymore) and Garrett (Justin Long) strike sparks for a summer fling in New York City but neither expects it to last once Erin heads home to San Francisco and Garrett remains behind for his Big Apple job. But after six increasingly romantic weeks, neither is sure they want it to end. So despite the opposing coasts, naysaying friends and family and a few unexpected temptations, the couple just might have found something like love. And helped by a lot of texting and late-night phone calls, they might actually go the distance.

This is fun, refreshing romantic comedy that is super funny, we had a great time watching this movie for our date night. I do have to say it is rated “R” . But so worth watching and I guarantee this movie will get you a few laughs and a great time.

You can own it now on DVD , Blu-ray Combo pack or on Demand; you can purchase your own copy through Amazon.com, Walmart.com or any other local or online retailer that has DVD/ Blu-Ray movies; this movie retails for $28.98for the DVD or $35.98 for the Blu-Ray Combo

I was provided with the movie reviewed above by the PR or Warner Bros. for my honest review. All opinions are 100% my own and no other compensation was provided.
