I’m not even sure if I should admit this, but I have never been to Bob Evans…EVER! When I was asked to participate in a campaign to check out the brand new $6 Farmhouse Deals at a Bob Evans restaurant near me, I jumped all over the opportunity. I’ve always wanted to go and heard good things, just never gotten around to it. So the other day, I packed the kids and hubby into the car and we went for a dinner down on the Farm.. Bob Evans Farm that is.

They have a brand new budget and family friendly campaign for their $6 Farmhouse Dinners; yup $6 one Meal one person… and let me tell you, that’s no McDonald Meal…. NOPE.. it’s a delicious home cooked meal that will even fill the hubby up; or in my case the Teen as well :0).
There are 10 delicious meals to choose from the $6 farmhouse deals menu; from Breakfast for dinner to pasta and the all-time favorite chicken and dumplings with biscuit and even a sausage biscuit bowl. There is something for everyone! You can even add a side salad or any kind of side dish for only $.99!
Our Service down on the Farm was wonderful, the staff was just as excited to see us, as we were to be there. We had a wonderful server and the manager even made his rounds to introduce himself to us. We felt like family… and were treated like family as well.
I decided on the Chicken –N-Noodle Deep dish dinner, which I may add, was delicious (I know that’s the word of the day… DELICIOUS!) with dumplings, mashed potato and a biscuits all smothered in a yummy chicken broth and chicken pieces… YUMMM.. what a combination; the texture and the flavor was just amazing! Just like Mom would make it; but a lot cheaper :0). The kids each decided on breakfast for dinner and they loved it, my Tween actually after we walked out said “So Mom, when are we coming back?”
The toddler hardly ever eats an entire meal, so we decided to add a side of French-fries to our dinner to take advantage of the $.99 deal for any side item and she loved it; she grabbed a few bites off my plate and tried Daddy’s plate and then settled with her fries.
We had a wonderful time as a family and a wonderful dinner. It was so nice to be spoiled for dinner and be able to sit down and just relax. Bob Evans did a great job and we can’t wait to go back.
Another nice side effect, this dinner didn’t break our bank; with a family of 5, you have to get a small loan sometimes to just feed them, not a Bob Evans… you can feed a family of 5 for under $30 and everyone’s belly will be full!
Bob Evans and this Crazy mom wants you go and enjoy a meal down on the farm and we are giving away a few different prize packages… how exciting is this? You can enjoy a home cooked meal with your family all courtesy of Bob Evans. Be sure to enter our Giveaway below.
