Oransi Ionic Air Purifier for Refrigerator {Review & Giveaway}

Oransi Ionic Fridge Air Purifier

There is one place in my house where I hate cleaning; the refrigerator. I’m sure most of you use Baking Soda to keep the odor to a “minimum”, but honestly that only works for a short time. I try to put all my fresh products or leftovers in plastic storage containers to eliminate the odor, but somehow they still creep in.

I found a company called Oransi and they have an Ionic Fridge Air Purifier. Sounds interesting, doesn’t it? Fridge Air purifier? Will the air in the fridge be better to breath now? Heck, I may have to move into the fridge if the air is better than in the house…lol… JK.. I think it’s cute… I had to check it out. I had no idea what to expect. The website states:

The Oransi Ionic Fridge air purifier cleans the air in your refrigerator so it smells amazing.

I agreed to test it and couldn’t wait to get it in. This little purifier is in size 4” x 2.8” x 2.5”, about the size of your Baking Soda Box… it does run on 2 AA batteries that are not included in the product.

HOW did we like it:
As soon as we put the batteries in, the orange light came on indicating the purifier is ready to work. I could clearly smell and feel the “fresher” air coming out of this little miracle machine. I placed it inside the refrigerator and also cut open a onion and put it in the fridge next to the purifier, without a lid, just open faced. We all know that onions will stink up a fridge, I figured this would be a great test. I closed the door and waited about an hour and checked on my “smell”. To my surprise I did not smell the onion, but had fresh pleasant air in my refrigerator. WOW! .. Okay, an hour may not be long enough, so I left the onion for the entire day and checked again at night… still no onion smell!  AMAZING!

I love this little Oransi Air purifier and can’t imagine my fridge without it; best part is, no filters to buy and the unit will run forever as long as you add fresh AA batteries! very low up keep on expenses. You can also turn the unit off with the on/off button right above the orange light in case you are cleaning out the fridge, leaving for an extended period of time, or whatever the reason you may need to turn your Ionic Air Purifier off.

Where to buy this:
You can purchase this handy little kitchen gadget directly through
Oransi or Amazon.com and it retails for $29.00.

For more information be sure to check out the “WHY section on the Oransi’s website.

    I’d love to win, because I often store already cut onions in my produce bin, and the smell can infiltrate the rest of the fridge.

    I’d love to win this because it would sure be better than having a box of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda in the fridge that we tend to forget about

    I would like to have the v-hepa Max Air Purifier. We live in an old house and the windows are painted shut. We need clean air.
