I was so excited when I was asked to review this great new product. The Recipe Rock from Architec Housewares is simple, practical and so easy to use.

Believe it or not over 70 percent of cooks report they would choose the Internet over cookbooks. Recipe Rock from Architec Housewares offers the most innovative new way to hold recipes. This small 2-inch, sculpted, concave “rock” holds up to eight pages of printed recipes upright at the perfect viewing angle, preventing the pages from sauce splatters and dirty hands.
Recipe Rock is perfect for recipes from the Internet, magazines and even note-cards. And it is small enough to fit in a drawer or recipe box. Just remove the metal ball from the magnetic rock, place the pages upright in front of the rock and replace the ball on the rock with the papers in between. What could be easier!

My thoughts:
I have tons of cookbooks but now with internet access it’s actually easier for me to find a recipe online rather that spending hours looking for one through my many cookbooks. The only problem was that I had to set the printouts on the counter which was very hard to read and most of the time I would have to turn the pages which would result in messy recipe printouts and cookbooks! With the Recipe Rock that is all a thing of the past and I’m super excited to share it with all of you. The product is very small ( 2.25”x2.25”) and will easily fit on the counter or even in a drawer until you need it.

I have a binder with my favorite printed recipes and yes, half of them have dried food splatters on them! This would be handy to keep them off the counter!
I usually take my iPad into the kitchen, which is not good. It gets so dirty & I worry about the kids knocking it off the counter.
