I love to come across unique websites with cool stuff for our little ones… so a few weeks ago I found a website called Cosmic Bebe…. The name sounded interesting so I investigated it a little further.. I found out that they have cute personalized products for your little ones.. from personalized dinnerware to placemats, lunch boxes to stickers and even Thank You cards… I fell in love with the Dinner Plates… my Toddler loves princess so I decided to get the Purple Dinner Plate with a Princess… the fun part is, you can create your own unique plate by choosing the character you like to have on the plate whether it be a Cowboy, princess or a Pirate you also get to choose what hair color your little character has, with glasses or without, with curly hair or funky hear… it is so much fun to personalize your individual plate.

It looks even better in person. My toddler loves her plate. From the moment she saw it, she had to have it… The other night I pulled the plate out of the dishwasher and I was going to use it… well.. BIG MISTAKE!! My Toddler came running up to me and informed me that ” Mom, you can’t use this plate, your name is not Allison“… “See, my name is on there, not Mommy, you can’t use it!“.. and she took it away from me and hid it in her room till supper time. Kids really love anything that is personalized with their name. I remember when I was a little girl, anything even a sticker that had my name on it made me feel “special”.
This plate has gone through numerous counts of toddler abuse and many cycles in the dishwasher the last few weeks and still looks just like when we pulled it out of the box. The one thing you can’t do is put it in the microwave, other than that everything is a go and nothing should be able to harm your plate. The reason I say “should”… because being a mom, you know, there is never a fool proof thing and if kids are determined to break, toss, mess something up, they will find a way….:-) but under normal circumstances, your plate should be beautiful for a long time to come.
