Review of the Contigo AUTOSEAL® Kids Trekker Mug

I just love products that have been invented by Mom ( or Dad). My main reason why I love Mom invented products are, they always work, the price is fair and it’s a wonderful product because Mom’s knows best. I love to showcase products that are mom invented and when I was asked to check out the new AUTOSEAL® Kids Trekker Mug, I knew this must be good.

This cup is anything like you’ve ever seen. We’ve all seen Sippy cups and the little stopper on the inside is the best thing ever since sliced bread ( at least in my house J ). But if you are anything like me, we loose those stoppers, the dog steals them or they just fall out of the cup after the toddler decides to toss the cup across the table, whatever the case it’s not 100% leak proof. There is a new star on the horizon called AUTOSEAL® Kids Trekker Mug.

This Mug is for the “big” kids in your home, I would suggest age 3+ would be a perfect fit. They are too big for Sippy cups, yet not big enough to handle bottles or while you are out and about. This new cup is so cool. Let me tell you a little about the cup;

At first when we got the cup I was a little hesitant ( I know you guys probly already know that I’m pretty skeptical about well.. just about anything… but if I really love the product, that’s when you get to hear about it  here in my reviews J) because I had a hard time pushing the button ( take a look at the big picture above, see the green button, that’s what you push) while I tried to drink. I thought , well.. this should be the other way around or well.. this is weird.. why would you do this and I had a few other thoughts… BUT my toddler saw the cup and without me even showing her took it, pushed it drank and walked away.. I stood there for a good 3 minutes looking at her.. almost like a jealous kid that someone else accomplished something and you can’t for the life of you..lol…That’s when it dawned on me, this cup is not for me,,, but my little one and they already know how to handle it, it’s almost like second nature.. my toddler loved it. She has taken it almost everywhere we go.

Once I knew my toddler has no problem using this cup, I took a closer look and I must admit, this is a cool product. The lid is all one piece, the seal is included and you will never ever have to piece everything together and may lose one of the seals and have a useless cup in the pantry. Cleaning is a breeze, pop it in the dishwasher and it gets done.. awesome.. I love this cup.. it’s a BIG KID cup and my Toddler truly enjoys using it. As far as we can tell it is 100% spill proof and we have not had any issues with the cup. Actually I’m thinking about ordering a few more. They are not only good for my toddler, but also would make a great little Easter present, Baby Shower gift or just a cool new cup for daycare or grandma’s house.
