The New Year is quickly approaching and a lot of my friends are already thinking how to lose the extra holiday pounds after they splurge all season long. I can happily say that this year I won’t be one of them. I will not add the word “dieting” to my New year resolution. Yup, you heard me right.
My family has been eating delicious meals all while trying to keep our weight at a good rate. The best part, I didn’t have to diet, starve or reduce everything I was eating. You see, quietly for the last year my husband and I have been on Weight Watchers®. No one knew, but everyone saw how good we looked.
We can eat when, where and what we like and still keep our weight at a level that we like. I’m mainly doing Weight Watchers® to help my husband out, so for me it’s on a maintenance mode all while we eat the same food. The nice thing, we can have just about anything, whenever we want as long as we keep our points in check for the day/week. It’s so easy and perfect especially during the Holiday Season. We don’t have to say “Sorry, can’t have this today” and make a sad face.
We can gladly accept the cookie or the extra dessert as long as we adjust our points and the best part if we load up on veggies they are all free game, all day long as many as we want, they are counted as a big fat 0!! So anytime you need a little pick me up or extra treat, grab some Strawberries or Bell pepper and you will be good to go till your next meal. Simple as that.
I can hear you say…. “Ohh, really? How in the world will you lose weight or keep your maintenance mode?”. It works, it really does, I have kept my weight steady and my husband is losing at a good rate, too.
While I was at Walmart the other day shopping for our weekly meals, I decided I would share our success with you and share one of our favorite recipes. This would be a great breakfast sandwich to dish up anytime of the year, during a busy morning or even as a Family Holiday Breakfast gathering meal. It’s simple, delicious and only 5 points on the Weight Watchers® system. How awesome is that?
I didn’t promise too much did I? All this for 5 points. Yup and the best part, you could load up your sandwich with extra egg whites and veggies and none have any points. You will love it. My daughter enjoys her Egg & Veggie Sandwich and loves to create different flavors every week. It never gets old.
You can create your very one Egg Sandwich creations, add more veggies, add maybe different spiced and serve with fruit and Juice. The possibilities are endless and you won’t even notice that you are trying to lose a few extra pounds.
Eating right can be affordable and easy, so why not try it for you and your family, there are a lot of fun, simple and delicious recipe ideas on the Weight Watchers® Hub, head on over and check them out and don’t forget to check out Weight Watchers® website to see what the program is all about. I bet you will fall in love with a system that really works on your terms and with the foods that you like and love to enjoy.
Have you ever tried Weight Watchers® and what is your favorite recipe? Did it work as well for you as it has for my family? Would love to hear all about it, leave me a comment below. I’m dying to know if I’m the only one in love with the Weight Watchers® program.
Most of my recipes that I posted here are unknowing to you very adaptable to the Weight Watchers® program, bet you had no idea. See, it’s easy to stay discreet and still enjoy food.

Great idea for a quick breakfast. We love breakfast sandwiches but I’ve never tried them with the Sandwich Thins. Guess I’ll have to stock up on them. #client

What I love about Weight Watchers is that you can eat anything on it…just count points! That works for me:) This recipe looks delicious. 🙂
