Super Sorting Pie from Learning Resources {Review & Giveaway}

October 1, 2011 By Melanie Roberts 12 Comments

Learning Resources

A few weeks ago we introduced you to a wonderful company called Learning Resources; we reviewed a wonderful toy for your Preschooler called Peek a Boo Muffins. We had an amazing time with the toy and decided to introduce you to yet another amazing product from Learning Resources.

At the time when we saw this cool “toy” we had no idea what we were into. This is an amazing product for your preschooler and even kindergartner. If you won’t take our word how wonderful this Super Sorting Pie is, how about the awards this amazing toy has won “The Learning Magazine’s 2012 Teacher’s Choice for the Classroom award”;  “Dr. Toy, Best Vacation Product” and the “Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold & SNAP Awards”wooohooo! AWESOME; to be honest I’m not surprised.

This is such a versatile product, your little one can learn sorting color, sorting fruits, sorting shapes and even practice their fine motor skills by suing the colorful kid friendly tweezers that are part of this set.

Once your little one gets passed the colors and sorting stage, this game won’t sit on the shelf for long, because now it’s time to learn your patterns, math and counting. What an amazing product this Super sorting pie is. Even my Tween had a ball; he’s having fine motor issues and yet, this is a 3+ up toy, he loved using the tweezers playing with the toddler. They had races who put the most inside the pie by color or shape.

As you can see, this isn’t just a toy, this is yet another wonderful tool that will grow with your little one and be a valuable addition to your playroom, homeschool room or even classroom.

I loved that the “fruits” are made of rubber; not hollow where they can easily be chewed on and then break; the entire play set is very sturdy and won’t break easily. High quality is not even anywhere near how to describe this product; it clearly superseded my expectations.

The detail in the fruit is just amazing, looks just like you have a real (tinny version) of a banana, apple of orange. Another nice idea is to use this set inside a kitchen to bake and create even more learning time. Just overall an amazing tool that we highly recommend.

Where to Buy?
You can purchase this amazing Super Sorting Pie through Amazon.com or directly at Learning Resources and it retails for $27.99
