School will be back in a few weeks and this year I told myself that we will have simple, delicious and affordable dinners. I will try to make a meal plan again every week to stay on budget and will find grocery coupons online to help me save. We have spent way too much on dinning out or even groceries this summer and this has to stop!

I used to be really good about printable coupons or clipping coupons in the Sunday paper, but since I got sick with Lupus I slacked a lot and let hubby do all the shopping and the cooking. I totally appreciate his help and can’t complain, he did the best he could, but… Mom is back in town and ready to take the grocery budget and the meal plan over and dish up some delicious meals for the family that everyone will enjoy.

I’m fighting one battle with Lupus, I shouldn’t have to fight a battle to keep my family healthy and fed. What got me really excited the other day was a bunch of printable coupons from Kraft. I love the Kraft products and that sparked my imagination that I lacked the last few months while I adjusted to my illness, the medications and all the ups and downs. Yes… I got my mojo back thanks to Kraft and their amazing printable coupons!

I quickly made a grocery list and printed all my coupons; as excited as I was, it wore me out and I quickly realized that I did too much for the day; So I handed the list and all the coupons to hubby and he was the great warrior that headed to Walmart for me to get all the things I needed to cook a simple dinner for the family. I decided my famous Pasta Salad would work perfect and my family had begged me to make it for some time now. So, we are dishing up a Simple Pasta Salad for dinner. Oh, this is also a Germany recipe in case you were wondering, soo delicious.

I also wanted to surprise my family with something special to celebrate mom trying to take over dinner time again and I came up with a fun Mocktail that the kids and even adults will love. Have you tried the new ready serve KOOL-AID? I’m in love, especially for those days when I can’t do it all and the kids are tired of water. It’s a favorite in our home. This recipe kicked it up a notch. We are dishing up a Simple Pasta Salad with a Mocktail KOOL-AID Sorbet Punch and #PackedWithSavings #shopThis was such a simple, yet delicious dinner and #PackedWithSavings. Thanks to the amazing printable coupons from Kraft, I was able to serve a full meal to my family of 5 for under $10.00 and that included the Mocktail. Can’t beat that! I even let the kids help me make it, they had a blast. Most of the items you probably already have at home and the few that you may need to add to your grocery list will be more affordable if you grab the coupons and pick up all your items at Walmart.

I have exciting things ahead of me, a new school year with a College Freshman, a High School Freshman and a 1st Grader; I will be busy and saving money is on the top of my list right next to dishing up homemade dinners every night and getting lost of rest (not sure how all this will work together, but Mom’s always manage everything, so I have faith, I can do this!). I may not always be able to cook, but I know I have a very supportive family that will jump in and take over, but mom will always lead them and give directions to make every meal a happy meal in our home. That’s my goal!

I made my first step with the printable coupons and a simple dinner, how would you make a simple dinner with the Kraft Coupons for your Family? Would love to hear some ideas that I can add to our Menu Plan.

As most printable coupons, there are limits, so be sure to check them out soon (like… right now!!), before you miss out on a deal and big savings!

I like your simple pasta salad. I will have to make it and the Mocktail Kool Aid looks delicious. I always clip coupons and use store coupons to get an even better deal.

That Tropical Mocktail with KoolAid looks awesome! I think that my family would also love the simple pasta salad with beef hot dogs. I bet that I could even get my son to help out.

The pasta salad looks delicious, but the Kool-aid Mocktail has really gotten my attention. I love Kool-aid, and it sounds delicious.

We haven’t tried the new ready serve Koolaid. I used to use a lot of printable coupons but it slowed down my computer so my husband took the installer out. Wish I still could get those savings!

We make a pasta salad similar to this but had never used hot dogs before. That is a neat twist. I’m going to try it.
