Who likes to be spoiled sometimes? No doubt we all would and for me spoiling means getting a cooked dinner from one of our favorite restaurant in town. I’m sure if you are living or have grown up in the South you are very familiar with my favorite restaurant, I decided to tell you all about it, because it is a MUST visit!
Can you guess what restaurant I’m talking about? It’s a restaurant that dishes up fresh made food daily, has a Southern style flare, was founded by Dan Evins in 1969, it’s first store opened in Lebanon, Tennessee, the restaurant has over 630 stores in 42 states and has a retail store inside the restaurant.

Well… do you have an idea yet? YES!!! It is Cracker Barrel. The first day I arrived in Florida my husband took me out to Cracker Barrel and that’s when my love affair began. Almost 20 years ago now and I can’t get enough of the chicken ‘n dumplings. My all time favorite dish.
Not only do they have Cracker Barrel’s Retail Store inside the restaurant, they also offer games for the kids while waiting for your meal. How awesome is that? I never had any issues with my kids while dining at Cracker Barrel. The staff and management has always been wonderful, accommodating and very friendly. Never did we get a bad meal, ever! Never did we leave unsatisfied. Overall it’s the best place in town!

Cracker Barrel recently changed some of their menu items from the traditional favorites like Old Timer’s Breakfast or Grandpa’s Country Fried Breakfast® to dinner ideas like Meatloaf dinner or your favorite Country Dinner plate, there is something for everyone. Southern comfort is big at Cracker Barrel.
Cracker Barrel’s lunch menu starts at $5.99 Monday – Friday, making it a very affordable lunch for everyone. Trust me, my office is not close to Cracker Barrel so we have to find different lunch options and almost every day I spend more than $15 for lunch!! Wish we could drive to Cracker Barrel but my one hour lunch isn’t gonna allow me to do that. But a wonderful option if you can! Keep that in mind.

Now you know what my all-time favorite restaurant is and if you have one close by I highly encourage you to check them out for your next Breakfast, lunch or dinner out. Another wonderful option is Cracker Barrel To-Go, just call in your order and pick up on your way home from the office or after the kids Soccer practice. I’ve done that many times and dinner was always wonderful.
Check out the Cracker Barrel website to see all their amazing menu items, the fresh meal ideas as well as the products at the Old Country Store. Sometimes I just check out the store if I need Christmas or Birthday ideas and all my gifts have been welcomed with open arms, keep that in mind next time you are looking for a great gift idea.

I would love to eat at Cracker Barrel one day. My son and his family ate there this summer and they loved the food.
