Welcome Summertime with Bobby Flay #Review

With Spring in full force down here in Florida, BBQ and outdoor grilling is in full swing. That also means lots of salads are on the dinner menu. You can never have too many bowls around in the summer, I know I always run out and we use way too many. But it’s all good. This year I was on the hunt for a new set of bowls; something simple, easy to clean and maybe something different, but defiantly something that won’t break my bank.

Our local Kohl’s is always my get to place when I need some new kitchen utensils and as I scrolled the aisles, I found Bobby Flay™ 3-pc. Mixing Bowl Set and Bobby Flay™ 3-pc. Wood Utensil Set. They looked like I could use them for pretty much anything this summer will throw at me.

The mixing bowls are three different sizes, making it perfect for small, medium and large salads, cookie batches and anything else you will use a bowl for, to choose your perfect size. The Mixing bowls are stainless steal, I LOVED that! They look stylish, won’t break and come clean in just a  few seconds by running them under hot water with a tap of soap, voilà, done! Clean up is a breeze.

The stainless steel bowls also will look nice on your BBQ table, dinner table or at any potluck you may be invited to. So stylish and everyone wants to know where you got them from. Another great feature and that I think was a selling point for me, every mixing bowl has a non slip bottom. AWESOME!! no more bowls rolling off the counter when you are trying to mix that brownie batter or when you try to mix the salad. Yup, will stay neatly on the counter and won’t sip. That to me is a total new concept and brought that “Ah!! Why didn’t I think of that” moment. I had never seen non slip added to any kind of bowl, so I totally loved it and loved how it worked on my counter. You have to see it to believe it!

The non slip handle is the same material as on the mixing bowls, non slip and is perfect if you have wet fingers and it will not slip. I also love that they are wood, meaning yes, they can NOT go in the dishwasher, but easily washed by hand. Wood utensils are wonderful, they clean easy and won’t scratch your cookware, they also won’t take on the odor of your food if you wash them every time you are done. Love them!

The new Bobby Flay Kitchen utensil and bowl set sure will be a hit at your next party or get together, the set would also be a great wedding present. I know I have lots of weddings coming up this spring and they would be a lasting memory that will be used over and over and over. I guarantee you will not leave these bowls and utensils in the back of the cabinet. I use mine every day and sometimes wish I had an extra set, they are wonderful and can be used for so many things; even to hold the kids candy if you need to hide them in a hurry .
