Monday Meal Plan

This month is flying by wayyy too quick.. I just checked on some e-mails that I thought I had been pushing of for maybe a week or so and realized they have been sitting in my inbox for a month..OMG… It can’t be that long.. I know I just got them… Kids are back in school this week, spring break sure was a good time. The weather here in Florida was just perfect, too bad I had to work and spend it all inside L

What did you do this weekend?? We did a lot of Spring cleaning, organizing and trashing stuff.. and then when I thought I could finally sit down and relax for just a few minutes Sunday evening around 7:45PM a Utility worker showed up on my front yard.. I looked at hubby and said “I did pay the water bill, didn’t I ?”… I know I did, I haven’t gotten a Blue letter yet… Our Utility Company is super fast, if you have not made that payment 5PM that day it’s due, the very next day you will have a BLUE letter in the mail telling you to pay up or else.. I know I haven’t gotten that blue letter… mhh.. why is this guy in my front yard on Sunday evening… so I walked out to say Hi and see if he is having an issue with our water…. Come to find out there is a waterline break, lucky me… it’s in the utility easement not yet on my own lines… “Score”… he then calls someone else and tells me, oh ,that’s not bad, I have another job I will be back soon ( mind you that was 7:45Pm…Sunday)… Well, I could care less, your job.. not mine, my water seems ok.. do what you have to do …. Off he goes…. Ahm… about 30 min later he returns.. and he is franticly calling for backup.. we get a second guy and they are digging and digging I can hear them say “not so nice words” , while I’m sitting on my porch enjoying the show… finally this huge humongous ( my toddlers new favorite word of the week)… pump truck arrives.. now 3 guys are digging in my yard at 10PM… mhhhhh well… should I be worried…?? After all, the guy wasn’t worried at 7:45pm…lol… Well.. my front yard is lid up like a runway.. so in case you need to find our house.. just follow the light J…. Should I go ask them if they like a drink?? I know it’s costume back at home in Germany to offer drinks and snacks, but I have yet to figure out if this is costume here in the US.. what ya think..??

Okay well.. back to my Monday Meal Plan…. This week is already off to a crazy start…

Monday: Beef Stroganoff Crock pot
Tuesday: Hamburgers & Home Fries
Wednesday: Schnitzel Sandwiches and German Potato Salad
Thursday: Ropa Vieja Crock Pot ( will post the recipe next week)
Friday: Mexican Taco pasta ( will post recipe later this week)
SATURDAY: Hackballchen Toscana – German Dish ( Meatballs Toscana with Mashed potatoes)
Sunday: Mimi’s House / Mom’s night off… J

A lot of my friends check this Meal Plan and I always get this response ” Wow, I can’t afford to eat like that”…. So I wanted to tell you guys, this is everything I buy with coupons and groceries for 75% off or more, if you aren’t a couponer or a believer, check my weekly shopping trips and my Coupon Class to get you started.. Every one of our meals if only a few $$ for all 5 of us… I don’t think any meal is ever over $5 for 5 of us, so a Buck a person !!!
