Well, guess what I did yesterday evening…..my hubby got malware on his PC… UUGGGHHHH and at the office I had to clean malware off the PC”s as well and I did notice an increase on attacks, so I thought it would be good to pass this information along to you in case you are in need of a new Virus program or Malware protection.
I personally use McAfee on 2 out of the 4 PC’s in my home, the 2 PC’s with McAfee hardly ever have any issue, the other two well, let’s say this.. I will get McAfee for them now,too.

Also I highly recommend you load a FREE program called Malwarebytes.org and install that on every PC; it works wonders.. It’s FREE and you know all the malware you get will 99.9% come off with this program, I have been using it for a long time and my boss at work kept getting malware on his PC, so I recommended to my IT people, to try this Malwarebytes program, ever since, our office is malware Free or able to remove it within seconds. Our IT People now, actually recommend it to all their clients!! It’s FREE and it does work. I had to run it last night on the kids PC and it found 800 malware infections, I about freaked!!! It took me about 6 min to run the scan ( each PC is different, my office PC takes up to 45 min for a short scan) and it cleaned every single one of the malware I had, ran a second scan just to be sure and it came clean.
I’m sure most of you have probly seen a window pop up stating something like ” Microsoft you have 43 infections run this scan to clean them now“.. it looks like legit Microsoft window, but it is NOT… it actually is malware and it will mess up my PC’s royaly if you click on it, sometimes impossible for a normal PC user to clean it.
I have had malware deactivate my entire PC and all I was able to run was certain websites that directed me to the malware and none of my programs, not even Malwarebytes were able to run, the malware that had infected our system deactivated it all..!! It took me about6+ hrs with 2 Pc’s and external hard drives to maneuver around the malware and get it removed.. it is possible BUT a mess… so I would highly recommend get the program it’s free and run it once a month.
They also have a paid version, I don’t pay and the Free one is still awesome and works.
Another tip is, if a window pops up stating “Microsoft found x amount of infections click here to clean them” immediately take your hands of the mouse, DON”T Touch anything, shut down the PC by the power button, don’t even power it down, just kill it right then and there… don’t touch the mouse…. the malware will NOT attach itself if not touched and you can bring your PC back up and you are ok… if something did attach run malwarebytes and it should clean it….
I hope this will help someone, I’m quit the maleware expert now after many attacs I can clean it in less than 30 as long as no one messes with it once the window comes up…..

Accidents happen, but as long as you know how to take care of them you will be fine…!!!
I also have the McAfee Site Advisor installed on each browser, this is also FREE, it will give you heads up if the website you are searching for or going to is clean, infected or be warned. I have been using this and even installed it on the office PC just to be sure. This is a Free download as well!!
