This gets me thinking… I just like having the TV on for “white noise” and well my daughter(s) could watch cartoons all day if I let them (one is a baby, but she loves the colors/movement)! And my hubby turns on the sleep timer for 2 hours every.single.night! No wonder our electric bill is so high! Thanks for this excellent tip!

Excellent idea. We do this now from time to time and it feels amazing. You don’t realize how overly stimulated you and your family is until you reduce the noise in the home.

I had the hardest time getting my daughter to turn off the TV when she left the room… til I came up with ‘if you leave the room and leave the TV on, it is OFF for the rest of the day/night!’
