Easter is always big in Germany and we decorate eggs and make a lot of different crafts from window decorations to your own Easter basket. I will showcase a few different crafts that I’m used to from home over the next few Saturdays and hope you will enjoy them as much as we did..

Easter Basket is a must have and all the kids in Kindergarten ( at home in Germany that is actually daycare age 3 and up) will make one in anticipation of Easter. Here is a simple one you can make with your little one and have your own easter basket that didn’t coast an arm and a leg and yet stylish enough where you can put it on the table as an Easter decoration.
You need:
- 1 12×12 Scrapbook paper, or any other paper in the size that you like
- A piece of ribbon, long enough to wrap around your finished basket
This is how you make it check out the pictures for directions… makes it a lot easier…

This is the finished basket, add some Easter grass and some eggs and you have a wonderful Easter basket that your little one helped you create. You can also before you tie it together have your little one color the paper, use stickers or any other way to decorate it and customize it to your style…..
