Okay.. I can’t even pronounce this dish.. but what I do know is, this was super yummy and right up my ally; so simple yet quick to prepare. When I leave the house in the morning to go to the office, I have very little time like 5 minutes before I have to run out the door to bring the Tween to the bus and the Toddler of to the sitter so I can make it to work in time… yet I still want to have a yummy dinner for the family when I come home, Crockpot days also mean ” No cooking day” for hubby.. he loves that because he can spend extra time on the play station.. must be a guy thing, I guess….
This dish was loved by the boys and hubby and they raved on for days… so why not check it out for yourself and hopefully you will like it as much as we have.

This is what you will need:
1 ½ pound of beef ( the recipe called for Flank steak, we used a roast)
Salt & pepper to taste
1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
1 jar Salsa ( your favorite brand)
½ cup beef broth or water
1 can chopped green chilies (we used dried chilies )
¼ teaspoon dried red pepper flakes

This is how to make it:
- Toss everything into your Crockpot, close the lid and cook on high for 4-6 hours or on low 8-10 hours
- Shred the meat…
- Enjoy over rice or in a taco

YUM, I love using my crockpot. I can prep it in the morning before the little one gets up and it is ready when hubby gets home from work

Looks very good. I wonder if it would be the same with the canned green chilies. I always have several cans on hand.
