We all have one or two products that we love when we are cleaning the house, for me it’s my Shark Steam Mop. This has by far been the best investment ever…. For one, you don’t need any special cleaning solutions, or any special cleaning pads that will cost you an arm and a leg, nope, all you need is water. When you take the Steam Mop out of the Box, the only thing that keeps you from cleaning is a bottle of water; you can use tap water, I however like the Bottle water, since our water is hard water it will keep the mop last longer, so I’m told. I’ve never seen the difference but I believe in it. What I do know is, that this Steam mop is wonderful. If you have little ones crawling on the floor, or even just dogs and cats walking through the house, you never know 100% if the cleaner you used was applied correctly or did it clean enough.

I remember when we left our German apartment, the landlord came to my apartment, and my apartment wasn’t dirty at all, you could have ate off the floor, spotless.. however in her eyes it had germs, she spend 4 hours moping the kitchen floor… 4 mop water buckets later she finally declared that the floor was clean… to be honest a little too much work for me, and I love to clean, yes I admit it I’m actually a clean freak, but even that was too much for me….

We have used the Shark Steam mop for over a year now and the only issue I have is the cleaning pads are about to wear out, but you can buy replacement pads fairly cheap and they lasted a year with daily cleaning and daily wash in the machine, not bad at all. The mop itself looks and works like new.

It only takes about 20 seconds from the time you put the water in and plug the mop in for the steam to start and the harder you push the handle in the more steam appears… I love it.. I can’t not say enough about this mop; I will never go without it. Why should I buy floor cleaner and have a sticky residue after each cleaning just so it smells clean?? This mop dries in a few seconds, you don’t have any of the sticky residue and the floor is dry right away…. No harsh chemicals and easy to use… This mop comes in different prize ranges, I have the Deluxe version and when I bought it a year ago I paid close to $120.00 now they are down to under $83 for the deluxe model that comes with 2 mop heads a triangle and a square and 2 mop pads for each head… The smaller version runs for under $50 but I’ve seen it at a friend’s house like the Deluxe version a lot better…
