Cuddly Hot Water bottle- A German Product Review

April 15, 2011 By Melanie Roberts 3 Comments

When I was a little girl, my Oma ( German for grandma) always gave me a Hot water bottle to put on my belly, if I wasn’t feeling well or just needed to get warm in the winter. I even put it on my feed; it was wonderful. When I moved to the US I had been looking all over for these Water Bottles like my grandma had for my boys. I thought it would be cool to have when the little ones get tummy aches or colic’s, but I was unable to find them. The last few years I had been thinking about the water bottles and how nice and warm they kept me on those cold winter days in Germany.

I was pleasantly surprised when I got an e-mail from a company called Warmtradition.com the other day; when I opened their website I about fell over for joy. You will not believe what they carry….. YUP.. MY HOT WATER BOTTLE and the best part, they are the original water bottles from Germany!! Made in German. I was excited no I was ecstatic. Best of all, I’m able to share this with all of you and show you how wonderful a HOT Water bottle would
be in your home. I love to introduce my readers to products from Europe, especially Germany; Share the tradition and story behind the products the way I remember them. I think it’s just cool to show different traditions and bring new products into the US that are a life and time saver in everyone’s home.

Now check them out, they are adorable, we decided on the Lamb Bottle, because Easter is just around the corner and we thought this would make a great Easter basket stuffer for your little one that is both fun and useful. But if you go to Warmtraditions.com, they have a lot of different ones to choose from, I personal would suggest you get one of each 😉 just kidding… but they are so darn cute…..I do think everyone should have at least one in the house.

Here is some info about the Hot Water Bottle:
You will love cuddling with the Lamb Hot Water Bottle. It quickly provides heat that is very soothing and relaxing. The lamb is very adorable, soft & fluffy too. No more counting sheep! The Lamb Hot Water Bottle will relax you in no time! Enclosed in the cuddly lamb is a travel classic hot water bottle made of safe and odorless thermoplastic. Made in Germany.

  • Bottle made from thermoplastic resulting in extra long lasting heat
  • Odorless, recyclable and safe
  • Extra large opening – no more spills!
  • Jointless neck preventing leakages

These Bottles are truly amazing, I’m not letting go of mine ever again and if I do need a second or a third (after, each kid needs their own in the Crazy Mom’s house, my kids love to share but not everything ;-)) I now have a direct get to site in the US just head on over to Warmtradition.com and pick yours out. WOW- this looks SO nice!! I’ve never used a hot water bottle before but it sure beats getting burned by our heating pads! I’m always afraid to use them with the kids. Thanks for sharing- I’ll have to remember this!!
