I’m loving your site. I use bleach to clean teh toliet bowls but never thought of using vinegar-thanks for the tip. Does it clean it too or just deordorize it?
Tess
It cleans it, too.. it will remove a lot of the hard stains… you will be surprised what vinegar will clean and deodorize. I love cleaning with Vinegar, cheap and very effective. If your faucet won’t work, take it apart and let soak in vinegar, it will work like a charm after that 🙂
I clean houses for a living and I’ve used baking soda before. I’ve never used vinegar before though. I don’t think I’d have the time to wait when I’m at other people’s home, but in my own I’ll have to give this a try.
Thanks for the tip!

Good tip. I also sometimes just put some baking soda in there and give it a quick scrub.
