I know, I’ve missed a few Sundays and not posting the “What did I buy” post, but it was simply because we didn’t do any deal or shopping at all. The deals to me haven’t been that super and we are still eating out of our pantry..lol.. yup a fairly large one, we do have to start looking for deals again. With school out that means in a few weeks the Pop Tart and cereal, breakfast items should go on major sale and that’s then I always stock up. I usually end up with a TON of Pop Tarts for very little $$.. I can’t wait. My Kids are Pop Tart addicts and only get them when I can find a deal.. so keep an eye out for the Back to school sales starting soon.
This week, I planed a short trip to Publix because I saw the Orville Redenbacher was a nice deal, my kids had been bugging me for weeks to buy popcorn and like anything else, if I can’t find a deal, we aren’t having it..lol.
The Orville Redenbacher’s Pop up Bowls are BoGo at Publix this week for $4.89; in Todays SS was $1/2 Publix coupon of Orville Redenbacher’s Popcorn and a few weeks ago was $55/1 ( 4/17 SS), combine 2 $.55/1 and the One Publix coupon, that will get you 2 boxes of Orville Redenbacher Pop up Bowles for $2.79 ($1.40 each, they retail for almost $5 a box).
On my way home I realized that if you buy $25 worth of ConAgra foods ( Which the popcorn is) and $25 worth of other items you can submit for a $20 Publix Gift card….
So I spend $28.36 on everything and can submit for a $20.00 Publix gift card, making my total for all these groceries $8.36…. whohooo That’s a sweet deal.
My store had the rebate for for the Summer Storm Savings in store, so check out your store and grab one….
Here is what I bought: 
8 Boxes of Popcorn
5 boxes of Goo Squeeze
1 1/2 gallon Publix Ice-cream
8 yogurts
2 packs of cheese
Bananas
Total Before coupons was: $ 46.10
Total after coupons $ 28.36
Total once I submit my $20 Publix Rebate $8.36!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to Winn-Dixie this morning and for $14.97 I bought 8 lbs. of deli meat, 2 frozen pizzas, and 2.5 pounds of bananas! 🙂

You missed the cereal deals last week @ Publix. It was a “Summer Breakfast” sale.
Some breakfast items are on sale this week, but it was better last week. This week its all “snack” foods.
Gotta love “summer” promos from Publix!

I didn’t think last week was a good deal on Cereal at all. if it’s not under $.50 I won’t get it…. lol… Thanks for letting me know, I do love Publix Promos… but they aren’t as good as they used to be…:-(
