Here we are again for LunchBox Tuesday… Time sure flies when you are having fun….
My Kids really love yogurt and my little one lately could live off yogurt so I try to mix it up a little and thought it would be a nice side item to add to any lunchbox in a little Tupperware bowl or something tight so it won’t spill.
Banana & Honey Yogurt
You Need:
1 Cup Plain Yogurt (we love Greek Yogurt) 1 Banana1/2 a teaspoon Honey ( or as much as you want.. we love LOTS) Cinnamon ( as much as you want… yumm) Mash the banana with a fork, mix the Yogurt, Honey and Cinnamon and your Yogurt is ready to eat.. Sooo Yummy and really healthy… my kids gobble it up
Make your own Applesauce in the Microwave
You Need:
1 Lb of Apples
3oz of water
Peel your apples, cut in small cubes; add the apples and the water in a tall microwaveable dish; heat for 6-8 minutes; smash with a potato smasher ( my kids love to smash the apples), add some Cinnamon if you like and your applesauce is ready to go in a Tupperware or those thermos and off to school they go… Fun sandwich: My Kids really like when I make their sandwiches into fun shapes, for some reason kids eat better if their food looks creative and decorated, have you ever noticed that??Mine do, all the time..
Here is a cute Sandwich idea:
Sandwich on a Stick
My Kids love when I make their Sandwiches into Creative Art.. for some reason kids eat better if it looks all creative.. have you ever noticed that…?? You Need: Sandwich Bread (we love Arnold’s but any Bread will be fine) Sliced Cheese ( I love Gouda, but any sliced cheese that you like will work) Cream Cheese ( flavored or unflavored up to you) Deli Meat Grape TomatoesKabob Sticks ( I think that’s what they call them here, those long sticks)

1. Spread the cream cheese on the slice of Bread, top with the Cheese and the Deli Meat.
2. cut each sandwich into smaller squares.
3. Now take one of the sandwich squares and push the stick thru, add a tomato then another sandwich square, and so on till the stick is full …
Yummy.. You can also add Bell peppers instead of tomatoes or add some pineapples or grapes in between the sandwich squares.. lots of possibilities.. ..enjoy
