LunchBox Tuesday: Tropical Pops

July 19, 2011 By Melanie Roberts 7 Comments

Frosty Tropical Pops recipe
(Picture is courtesy of Cooking with Kraft)

Are you looking for something fun to do with the little ones? Or even surprise them with a fun treat? I found some cool Pops the other day on the Cooking with Kraft Website and my kids can’t get enough of them.

This is what you need:

4 cups strawberries
1 tsp. KOOL-AID Sugar Free Tropical Punch Flavor Low Calorie Soft Drink

This is how to make it:

  • BLEND ingredients in blender until smooth; pour into 6 paper or plastic cups. Freeze 1 hour.

  • INSERT wooden pop stick into center of each cup. Freeze 3 hours or until firm.

  • REMOVE pops from cups just before serving.

I bet your little ones will love these, too Smile You can mix and match fruit and Juice flavors for a lot of different and fun varieties Smile

When I first saw this I thought it was going to involve watermelon =P I’m not a fan of strawberries, so I wonder if it would work with watermelon…. hmmm now my wheels are turning. I may have to try it =) The strawberry ones do look yummy though <3 Thanks for the post, I think the next time my niece is here I'll have to try it out.
