Pumpkin Ideas

September 29, 2010 By Melanie Roberts 4 Comments

I went thru my Halloween Pictures yesterday and came across this cute craft we did. I for the life of me can not carve a pumpkin, mus be because growing up in Germany we didn’t have Halloween and Pumpkins like that.. so I come up with different ideas each year to decorate our Pumpkins and make them funny looking or scary .. what ever the kids decide. This particular Pumpkin we used the Model Clay, the ones that air dries ( can not remember the name is from Crayola)… I gave it to the kids and let them have at it…. ( you can also use play doughand they can do it over and over again… I like the Model clay cause it will air dry and stay that way)…. This can be done with little ones as well as older kids any size pumpkin will do… Soo much fun for everyone and a LOT less Mess!!!

So take a look what the kids came up with… Happy Pumpkin day….

I love the model clay idea opposed to using the knifes. My son will love this one!
