Top 10 Reasons why I want to visit #VirginaBeach

Summer, sun and fun.. it’s all full in force; everyone is out of school and Mom and Dad are ready to go on vacation; but where to go?

My boys are heading up to Virginia this weekend and I’m sooo jealous because I’ve always wanted to go there. So to show the boys how awesome Virginia Beach is, I made a list and decided to share it with all my readers… maybe someone else thinks it’s a great idea to go visit Virginia Beach.

So pack your bags, and get ready for some fun on the beach, beautiful Virginia Beach that is.

1. The BEACH – I love the beach and Florida has wonderful sand and water, BUT come on, it’s Vacation, let’s leave the state and check out someone else’s beach… they have a Boardwalk that’s 28 feet wide and runs along parallel the ocean, best part – it NEVER closes! Of course you also have lots of great sand and clear water to cool yourself off.
2. Virginia Aquarium and Science Center; this will be a lot of fun for the entire family and will keep you cool for a bit; we love aquariums and all the different critters to explore sure will be a great memory maker for everyone in the group. This is something my Boys would love to do and is on their list this year, too.
3. If you rather spend some time exploring how about checking out some of the Old Lighthouses or even the Old Coast Guard Station, this history  will teach your little ones and create wonderful memories. That’s a dream of mine to see the Lighthouses, I soo would love to see them and can’t wait for the boys to bring back pictures.
4. Waterpark – Did you know, they even have a Waterpark it’s called Ocean Breeze Water Park; that has action and fun; all in one day. Kids love it and Mom and Dad will, too. This is another thing I would love to checkout, I’ve seen all the ones in Florida, time to move to another state for more fun
5. SPA– I heard so many awesome and relaxing things about a Spa and Virginia Beach has a ton of them. The sound of a Spa on the Beach is just relaxing to me, sign me up… I want one NOW!!
6. Mystery Dinner at the Mystery Dinner House – I’ve always wanted to be part of a Mystery Dinner, this would be so much fun after a lazy day on the beach.
7. Hubby likes to play Golf, and I heard Virginia Beach has beautiful greens and the weather is just perfect, not too hot and not too cold….
8. I would love to explore the wildlife and nature while up in the mountains, being from Florida, this is a must see. Check out Owl Creek, it’s just minutes from the City Life, this is another thing that’s on my list of things I really want to see!
9. I’ve heard from the boys that there is a place called Motor World, where all the boys love to go and race go-carts; this would be so much fun to hang out with the family and race against each other for an afternoon; this is defiantly a memory maker….
10. Dolphins… that’s a BIG thing, I LOVE Dolphins and you can spot them and I’ve heard you could even Kayak with the Dolphins, how cool is that…?

Oh, doesn’t that sound like a lot of fun?? Let’s go… grab the bags and let’s all meet at the Airport… See you in Virginia Beach …. and let’s explore all the cool things that I haven’t heard about yet…..
