My Crazy Fur Babies

I know, I hardly ever talk about my “other” babies. I love them dearly, but there is only so much you can talk about. I decided to give you some insight on our Crazy day with my Crazy Fur Babies….and I want to know if my Fur Babies are just that, Crazy… or if yours are just like that.

This is Charlie a/k/a Charlie Brown or Baby Boy….  as you can tell from the picture he’s quit embarrassed in the Pink outfit that my Toddler made him wear. But he’s a sport and decided to play along.

This is Snoopy, the Beagle, he “used” to be a Hunting dog, or so we were told. Now he’s just a lazy house dog who runs the house. No hunting in that fellow unless you say the secret word T R E A T ( sorry, had to spell it, or he would be all over me now…lol).

I love my babies, they are amazing and I couldn’t imagine life without them, but there are a few things they do….. that make me think; What in the world?

Some crazy Dog Stories about Snoopy, the Beagle.

1. Snoopy, the Beagle thinks he’s the king and takes over the bed anytime no one is there. He litterly takes his front paws and stretches them all the way to the end of the bed and the same with his back paws, laying on his back stretched out across the entire bed. Really, have you seen a Hunting dog launching on a bed??
2. Snoopy will only eat the “light” colored dog food pieces, no idea why or what, but he tosses everything out of his food bowl and leaves the light ones behind and then he eats.. wired, yup… no idea what’s up with him.
3. He’s a rebble, he will knock over the trash anytime we leave it in the kitchen and we leave the house, he doesn’t touch anything in the house, BUT the Trash can… I can be gone 1 second or 10 hrs., he will knock it over.
4. He’s the mellowest dog I’ve ever seen, especially for a Hunting dog; he let’s the Toddler play Horse with him, or get’s dressed for a tea Party… and the only thing he does is look at me with his Puppy eyes that scream “Help me Mom, please…”.

Some Crazy stories about Charlie Brown.

1. Charlie was rescued from another family, who thought at 4 month old he was a handful. Let me tell you about Charlie’s day and see if you could handle him.Sleep ……. open eyes, better not move, that would involve some kind of activities…. sleep some more…… Oh, mom’s leaving, that means TREATS… sit in line and get some goodies…… back to bed and sleep some more….. sleep more….. keep sleeping…. Oh, Dad’s home, gotta go Potty… two seconds..done… Sleep some more… oh Kids are Home, pretend to be a loving exciting pup and jump and say hi…. done, back to bed.. sleep… sleep more… keep sleeping.. Oh Supper time.. lets yawn and get up and see what Mommy cooked… Wish snoopy wouldn’t want to play with me… okay, eat supper, go potty, lay in the grass… and sleep.. sleep some more…. here comes the darn Toddler… she wants to play…. okay be a good puppy put on a happy face and catch the ball for a minute… there, enough fun.. I’m off to bed for the night…. Night ya a’ll see ya in 14 hrs……

   Some day Charlie has… and the prior family said he was a handful…lol… He is truly a great Pup, lazy and hates going outside in the rain… if it rains, you better put a potty pad in the house, because prince charming doesn’t want to get wet…

2. Charlie actually gets wild sometimes… after a day at the Doggie Spa; no idea why, but after he comes home from the groomer he’s all tiered and the next day he goes wild for hours… must be the new hair cut… who knows.
3. Charlie is very sentimental and gets mad quickly.. yup a dog gets mad. He can tell if I’m home for the day or if I’m leaving; if the suit case is involved he won’t even see me.. sometimes I think he’s a cat in a dog body… he’s too funny.

Now you’ve got an idea of what my house looks like with two Fur Babies as well as three kids… do you have any funny dog or animal stories to tell? Would so love to hear them………
