Do you have pots and pans with food burned on to them? We’ve all done it – we’ve burnt food onto our best saucepans and pots.
There is help, re-wet the burnt spots with water and throw a good handful of Baking soda over it. Let it soak overnight and you should be able to wipe/rub it clean the next day! Wonderful! It also works great for burnt food on the cooker as well 🙂

I’ve tried this and it really works! I’ve broiled ham with honey on it, and some of the honey burnt on to the pan, and soaking in water with baking soda lifts it right off.

I wonder if this will work on bottom of Calphalon pans. Great tip and thank-you for the post!
