Birthday Bash Pampered Chef {Giveaway}

September 5, 2011 By Melanie Roberts 83 Comments

What would a Birthday be without some goodies? I love cake and brownies and anything sweet. Well, Pampered Chef is just the perfect person to team up with for another wonderful Giveaway.

Have you seen the “Rice”cooker from Pampered Chef yet? I kind of say that in a way like Rice Cooker Plus…lol. It’s really an awesome unit! It does so much more than to cook rice. To be honest, I haven’t used it for rice yet. I did use it for an awesome recipe that I found on Pampered Chef’s Website for Lava Cake.

  • You take 1 Box of your favorite Cake Mix
  • Ingredients per box  (eggs, water, oil etc)
  • 1 Can frosting

Mix the Cake mix inside your rice Cooker just like you would in a bowl, the regular way. no need to mess up a second bowl, use the rice cooker. Once the cake batter is all mixed up add about 2/3 of the frosting right into the cake batter; don’t stir. Close lid and put inside microwave for about 8-10 minutes depending on your microwave; you can check on it along the way.

Voila… nice, hot and gooey Lava cake straight from the Microwave in under 10 minutes… ENJOY!!

I’ve actually been making “cake” desserts the last few weeks in the rice cooker; I didn’t even add the eggs or oil. I added the cake mix, the water per instructions on the box and one cup of Apple Sauce and put it in the rice cooker; wonderful yummy dessert. My entire family loved it!!

I’m so hooked on this “rice” cooker. You can use it for so many different things, cook your pasta, brown your meat and yes, cook your rice. This little handy bowl retails for $26.50.

Since it’s our Birthday…. we want you to have one of the Pampered Chef Rice Cooker Plus, too.
