With Quick & Easy Autumn you’ll spend more time enjoying fall fun and less time in the kitchen! Your family & friends will love scrumptious recipes like Quick Cheese Danish, Cherry-Pecan Turkey Breast, Mom’s Butternut Squash Bake and Pumpkin Gingerbread Trifle…each is ready in under 30 minutes, or begins with just 8 ingredients or less! this is a Hardcover book with  224 pages full of yummy recipes.

Gooseberry Patch has done it again, by now you already know we are hooked on the amazing recipes, this book will be  a welcome addition this fall in our kitchen. I love the fact that  most recipes take less than 30 minutes and are prepared with just a few ingredients that most of us have at home most of the time anyways. No Special trip to the store to buy the items that you have never heard of that may cost you an arm or a leg; all ingredients in the book are standard and widely available at any grocery store.

I also love that this book has a breakfast & brunch, Snacks & Appetizers, Soup, Sides & salads, main dishes, Desserts and even a section for Slow Cooker.

We prepared the Skillet Chicken & Mushrooms the other day and this is what you will need:

1-1/2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
salt and pepper to taste
3 T. butter, divided
1 yellow onion, chopped
1 lb. sliced mushrooms
1/4 c. Madeira wine or chicken broth
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. fresh tarragon, chopped

Sprinkle chicken generously with salt and pepper. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Cook chicken until golden on both sides, about 8 minutes. Transfer chicken to a plate. Melt remaining butter in skillet over medium heat. Add onion; sauté just until softened, about 3 minutes. Add mushrooms; sauté until juices are released, about 5 minutes. Stir in wine or broth and Worcestershire sauce. Return chicken and any juices from the plate to the pan. Spoon mushroom mixture over chicken. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook until chicken juices run clear, about 20 minutes. Stir in tarragon and additional salt and pepper, as desired. Serves 4.

This was right up my ally… yumm.. so easy to prepare and will go with anything from pasta to veggies and even on a sandwich bun… LOVED IT!!

This book doesn’t just give you yummy recipes for the fall, but also tips and ideas on every page how to decorate for fall, host parties or just how to have fun. Wonderful idea to include that into a book. I can’t get enough of it. If you are hooked on the Gooseberry patch Books, be sure to check the books out on Amazon.com they are all available on hardcopies or even for Kindle ( most of them).

Welcome to Gooseberry Patch

I can honestly say, this Quick & Easy Autumn is another wonderful addition to any recipe collection; best part is you can get a bunch of FREE recipes through Gooseberry Patch.com; I was actually amazed at how many FREE recipes they offer out of each book.

You can also follow Gooseberry patch on twitter, Facebook, their Blog or check out all the books, recipes and ideas on their Website. By far they are amazing and a wonderful resource in any kitchen.

I received the book for my honest review; all opinions are 100% my own and yours may vary. No other compensation was nor will be received.
