You know how much I love to introduce you to my German heritage; This week was the official opening of the Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany.
Oktoberfest is known worldwide and I thought it would be fun to bring a little bit of Germany to the US. The website is in English and has LIVE video camera from the fest and lots of information. How cool is that? Makes you feel like you are there…
Have you ever been to the Oktoberfest? Would love to hear all about it.
Some info about the Oktoberfest:
Oktoberfest is a 16ā18 day festival held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, running from late September to the first weekend in October. It is one of the most famous events in Germany and is the world’s largest fair, with more than 5 million people attending every year. The Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture, having been held since 1810. Other cities across the world also hold Oktoberfest celebrations, modeled after the Munich event.

It’s very interesting to know that you was from Germany š I used to learn a bit German language in University 10 years ago when I still lived in my country. Because of my personal problem, I had to change to the other major to study š But I think that one day I will learn it again because I love it š
Danke schoen und Ein gutes neues Jahr š
