Texas Instruments Nspire CX Graphing Calculator

Do you have a Teen or College Student in the house? If so, this review is perfect for you. My Teen is currently in Advanced Algebra 2Honors and he was super excited to be able to review the Calculator from Texas Instruments.

The brand new version of this popular Texas Instruments Nspire has a color screen and is similar to a mini computer. it truly is an awesome product; a little complicated for the every day person, but if you are taking Algebra you know what a great Calculator this is.

Besides Algebra, this calculator has many more quality uses and will be able to help your student in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Finances, College Math, Precalculus, Calculus, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

How did we like it?
The cool thing about this calculator is that it has a full color screen, you can upload pictures and calculated an arch or measure volume from the picture. So super cool. My son loved taking it to school and kept his math notes right inside the Calculator and once he got home, he was able to transfer his notes to the PC and work on both, the PC and the Calculator.

We loved the extensive video training manual for this calculator; best part…it’s all free on the website. Texas Instruments even has a Student Zone, where you can practice for SAT, ACT or AP.

Anytime there is an update for the calculator, it’s free of charge and you will be notified, so you always have the latest and greatest. This brand new Texas Instruments Nspire CX Graphing Calculator is definitely worth it’s money; it retails for $169.00 but can be used from High school through College and then some. Just think, you will never have to buy another calculator again.

Another nice thing about this calculator, you don’t have to buy batteries. It comes with a rechargeable battery and charger, so you are always ready to go when you need it. The design of the Nspire CX is thin and lightweight. Making it easy to drop into your backpack or carry to school.

My son truly enjoys this calculator and his math teacher has been playing with it as well and said it was a bit advanced for what their needs are; yet he will definitely look into getting one for himself. He loved the capability to be able to work in the classroom, save his work and then move it to his home/work PC and print out the work; it’s almost like a mini computer.

You can get more info about the Texas Instruments Calculator through their website, Facebook or Twitter.

Where to buy?
You can purchase this amazing little tool through Amazon.com, Wal-Mart, Target or any of your favorite retailer and it retails for $160.00
