New product Sampling with International Delight Iced Coffee #IcedCoffee and #CBias

When I grew up my Mom and Dad would drink coffee 24/7, I had no clue why they loved that brown weird tasting stuff so much; as I got older and older and well.. older.. I discovered the taste for coffee as well and I’m kind of hooked on the expensive coffee shop coffee.

I can’t manage if I don’t drink 2 cups of coffee in the morning, some during the day and then maybe some more, of course I can’t afford to drink all from my favorite coffee shop, but let’s say…I’m hooked.

So, International Delight contacted me and asked if I would like to check out a brand new product, that’s all they said, and I agreed. I had no idea what would show up on my door a few weeks later inside a cooler….. BOY was I in for a treat.

International Delight is about to debut a brand new product in the refrigerator dairy isle at your local Walmart, on January 15th; your very own Iced Coffee in a half gallon carton. Comes in 3 flavors, Mocha, Original and Vanilla.

I’m a big Mocha fan, so the first one I tried was Mocha and I have to admit, ahmm.. shhh.. don’t tell hubby, but I think I found a new addiction. This International Delight Ice Coffee Mocha is amazing; perfect sweetness, coffee blend and even my favorite coffee house can’t make it any better… or cheaper.

Hubby wanted to try the Mocha as well and after the first taste said “Wow, you know how this would be good?”… he ran and grabbed a  bag of ice, the blender and a cup… and made a Iced Coffee Slushy… The slushy tasted very close to my favorite Iced Coffee at the “famous” coffee shop that charges you $5 a cup…. WOW.. coffeehouse taste, coffeehouse quality for a fraction of the price? best part, I don’t have to spend hours in line getting it, I can run into Walmart, grab a few cartons and keep them in the fridge, handy for the morning rush out the door and a lot cheaper on my wallet.

After the Mocha Iced Coffee was gone, we decided to try the Vanilla and the Original and both are just as satisfying and perfectly blended; totally will satisfy your sweet and coffee tooth… however my favorite was definitely the Mocha… but the Vanilla is a close second.

I loved the packaging, so colorful and standing out of the white milk packaging that is all over the refrigerator isle.. love the blend of green and blue colors.. so soothing and oh yeah, just a little FYI… one 8oz cup has about 150 calories, BUT this is so worth it as a treat or a quick coffee drink between your crazy morning schedule or just to sit down and relax while the kids are quiet…

These look so good! I love the idea of crushing up the ice, too – just like a frappacino (minus the big price tag)!

Great post! How funny – I mentioned in mine that I was going to freeze my cartons in the summer to make smoothies with them. I see you had the same idea!

Wonder how it would be blended with vanilla ice cream. Yum. I’m watching my calories but I currently have a warm mocha (cheap stuff that I get from Sam’s Club) a few times a week to keep my spirits up as a reward on days I go to the gym. I have a total weakness for iced drinks and currently satisfy that craving at McD’s but I try to avoid McD’s as much as possible because it’s too tempting to get other stuff too. This International Delight stuff looks mighty tasty and since my fridge currently houses a bottle of International Delight Coffee House Inspirations Skinny, Fat Free White Chocolate Mocha creamer for my coffee, I’m pretty sure I’ll love trying the new iced coffee out!

We didn’t blend it up, but I was betting that this would be so perfect for that! I love that your husband got involved and had fun with your sampling.
