We are in the midst of the wine country, Franconia. It is so worth a trip. Beautiful isn’t enough to describe this area. I grew up down here and it’s just amazing. The scenery, the wine and the people. We have yet to find the hustle and bustle that we are used to in America. People take their sweet little time, they meet up with friends for dinner, even on a Wednesday evening, or have a cup of coffee in the mid afternoon with neighbors. No rush, no hurry and no worries…. I LOVE IT!!!
We drove through some of the Weinberg’s here and ended up in a little restaurant right on top of a mountain, with amazing lookout and scenery. Of course we had to try the local beer and Asparagus dinner that was in season; yes, white Asparagus. It was delicious…
A quick evening stroll through the Weinberg’s and back to pick up the boys… that was a great evening exploration for hubby and the Princess and we enjoyed every little bit of it…..
