Holiday season is right around the corner and Country Crock would love to help make your holiday preparation a little easier this year. Holiday meals aren’t complete without veggies, and we all have that one special dish we can’t wait to prepare…perhaps grandma’s famous candied sweet potatoes or Aunt Joan’s green bean casserole?

Holiday Broccoli Saute

We enjoyed the Holiday Broccoli Sauté; it was simply delicious and I know you will enjoy it, too.

This is what you will need
  • 3 Tbsp. Country Crock® Pumpkin Spice Spread
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 6 cups fresh broccoli florets, cooked until crisp-tender
  • 1/4 cup chopped toasted walnuts
Directions:

Melt Country Crock® Pumpkin Spice Spread in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook onion, stirring frequently, until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in vinegar and cook 1 minute. Stir in raisins, water and sugar and cook, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, about 2 minutes. Stir in broccoli, then sprinkle with walnuts.

TIP: Use cooked frozen broccoli florets instead of fresh.

  2. I’d like to win this giveaway for the pan first. I want to improve my diet and add more vegetables to it using various stir frys as I believe it will help with my diabetes.

  15. I would like to win this giveaway for the nonstick fry pan! I’ve had the hardest time trying to find a good pan. I’m also excited about the veggie preparation tips and recipes as well as the Chop Wizard because my fiance and I are trying to eat healthy for 2013.

  21. I REALLY really need that fry pan becuase I cook from scratch every day and mine is all scratched up-used up. We have to eat a certain way for our health now.
    That chopper looks like alot of fun and would make meal preparation more enjoyable with something new to use. LOL
