A few weeks ago a box arrived with two brand new flavors of Tyson Any’tizers Boneless Chicken Wyngz and my Teen (the oldest one) couldn’t hold his excitement. He even texted me at work if he could open the box to try them. We are a big chicken loving family and of course I wanted to try them as soon as possible, too.
I could have just plopped the new Boneless Wyngz into the oven gave the kids some dipping sauce and called it the night, but I knew the flavors are special and needed something special for dinner to go with. The only downside was that I didn’t have a lot of time to cook dinner; we had to go to the soccer fields right away.
The Wyngz from Tyson come in two new amazing flavors. My favorite Mango Habanero and Sweet Garlic Glazed. The chickens are byte size and fully cooked. You can heat them in the microwave or put them in the oven, whatever your family likes best.
I came up with two simple dinner ideas that won’t break the bank and will get your family a satisfying dinner in no time at all.
Po-Boy Boneless Chicken Wyngz sandwich
This is what you need:
-
1 pack of the Tyson Any’tizers Boneless Chicken Wyngz (we used the Mango Habanero Flavor)
-
Ranch or Blue Cheese dressing
-
French Bread
-
Pepper Jack Cheese slices
-
Tomatoes
-
Shredded lettuce
How to make it:
-
Prepare the Wyngz according to package instructions
-
Spread the Ranch or Blue cheese dressing to both bread half’s
-
add the pepper Jack Cheese
-
put in the oven 400F for about 5 minutes to melt the cheese
-
When cheese is melted put your Boneless Chicken Wyngz on the melted cheese, top with tomatoes and lettuce
The second dinner idea was just as simple, but full of flavors and perfect for a warm spring or summer day. I used the Glazed Garlic Wyngz for this dish.
Any’tizers Boneless Chicken Wyngz with Mango Salsa in a Lettuce Wrap
This is what you need:
-
1 package of Any’tizers boneless chicken Wygnz (I used the Sweet Garlic Glazed flavor)
-
1/2 red onion/ chopped
-
1/2 orange bell pepper/ chopped
-
juice of 1 lime
-
2 mangos/ chopped
-
a handful of cilantro / chopped
-
a few leaves of Napa Cabbage/ Lettuce
This is how to make it:
-
Prepare your Chicken Wyngz according to the directions on the package
-
Chop all your veggies, put in bowl
-
sprinkle your veggies with lime juice
-
Take your Napa Cabbage leaves and add your chicken and Mango Salsa
Two very different dinner ideas, but both a very simple to create thanks to the new Tyson Boneless Chicken Wyngz. We loved the new flavors. Mango Habanero had a sweet flavor, but also a kick to it. LOVED it!! This will be a regular in our house. Balanced flavors and easy to make, the kids loved it and mom approved; what more do you want?
The Sweet Garlic Glazed Boneless Chicken Wyngz are really good as well, but the Mango Habanero ones stole the show in our family, that’s for sure. Super simple, quick to prepare for a snack or easy dinner anytime.
You can grab a bag of these delicious new Wyngz starting April 16th, 2013 at a Walmart near you. They will be sold exclusively at Walmart. So be sure to say #GiveMeWyngz the next time you are looking for a great dinner idea.
