You can grow your own Herbs even without a green thumb thanks to Miracle Gro #Review

I don’t know about you, but I can not for the life of me grow a thing. Everything dies and yet I start with good intentions. I’ve been trying for years to grow a little herb garden and either I water too much or not enough I can never seem to get any herbs going. I blame it on Florida.. it’s too hot and too wet at times… lol… my story and I’m sticking to it!

Well, until the other day at least. Miracle Gro has a new product called Gro-ables Seed Pod, we all know the Miracle Gro products and well they work for our bushes and flowers, now they are guaranteeing me that I can also grow my herb garden with very little effort.

Gor-ables are ready to be planted, everything you need is there. You pick on or many of the 12 seed pods currently available and peel the top; take the pod and just push down into the dirt, make sure you plant in a sunny spot in the garden or planter and you don’t even have to cover it with dirt.

That’s it.. oh well, you still have to water. Other then that planting your herb garden is done. Took me about 1 minute to push the seed pod into the ground, no tools needed and that’s it. This would be such a great summer activity for the kids to do while out on summer break. The kids could pick their favorite seed pod and plant it, care for it and see how it will grow and eventually be used in the kitchen.

My princess loved it and can’t wait to see her very own Gro-ables grow and produce spinach and basil for dinner one day. I sure hope I won’t kill them like all the others, however Miracle Gro has a Satisfaction guarantee or your money back as well as a guaranteed to grow if used as directed. So what could go wrong.. nothing to loos let’s keep on growing and harvesting the fresh herbs and veggies.

Five easy steps to get you a green thumb and some delicious fresh herbs and veggies.

  1. Get your Pods: Pick on of the 12 different varieties online or at your local Lowes, Home depot or anywhere else Miracle Gro is being sold.
  2. Choose a Sunny Spot  to plant your Gro-able Seed pot
  3. Choose your area, it doesn’t have to be a big spot
  4. choose your container(s) if you like
  5. water when needed – keep the soil wet

That’s it.. simple as that … then you sit back and wait… till your Gro-ables come to life.

Ooh I like that! I definitely don’t have a green thumb that is for sure! This looks great, I will have to keep an eye open for them! I would love to grow my own herbs, I’ve always wanted to… but I just assumed that I would mess em up!

Aww! The princess looks like she is having a great time. I will have to try these. Usually I purchase my annual herbs already growing.

We use Miracle Gro every spring and summer but I haven’t heard of these seed pods. They sound and look so fun and easy! I’ll have to look for them next time I’m shopping.

Those look really cool! We have a few herbs in our garden but need to start some more. They are the EASIEST crop to take care of. 🙂

Consider it done. I’m going to be all over this because I don’t particularly like all the babying you have to do with seeds. Love this workaround!

That would be PERFECT for my container garden because it’s so simple and I have a hard time finding time to garden!

I have to try this, I don’t have a green thumb either, I killed a cactus plant one time (how does anyone do that?). At least it has a guarantee on it.
