Goodbye dirt hello clean BISSELL

It’s a plane… it’s a bird.. NO.. it’s a brand new BISSELL PowerGlide Pet Vacuum. I don’t know the last time I was THAT excited about a new vacuum. I’m sure we all had our share of vacuums over the years from very expensive ones to the very cheap ones. So.. tell me and be honest, have any held up to your expectations?

For me, honestly, NO. I bought cheap ones at Walmart and they lasted as long as the very expensive brand we all know. Since I was yet again in the market for a new vacuum, I decided to give the new BISSELL PowerGlide a try. I have never had a BISSELL, so I wasn’t sure about the quality or products; but it couldn’t be any worse then what I had in the past.

I was especially excited that the new BISSELL PowerGlide was for pet owners. With 3 Fur babies and one that sheds to no ends we have lots of hair, everywhere. We vacuum about 2 times a day and that may be another reason why a lot of vacuums won’t hold up.

It was super simple to assemble the BISSELL PowerGlide pet vacuum; it came in 3 pieces; the vacuum itself, the hose and the handle; all just snaps in place and within 3 minutes you are ready to rock a super clean and no pet hair floor.

My Teen helped me and he put it all together and did the first test run, since my back was hurting and he loved it. It was easy to use, sliding across our hardwood floors and no problem switching over to carpet.  The best part… you can remove the canister for easy stair cleaning, car cleaning or anything you just need a smaller yet powerful vacuum.

I loved that all the attachments, well the ones that we use all the time like the power spin brush and the crevice tool are attached to the back of the vacuum, no more missing tools and no more finding them when you need to use them. LOVE that!!

As I mentioned, we vacuum twice a day sometimes more, with all the dirt and hair 3 dogs and 3 kids will drag into the house and me being the germ phobic person that I’m, we give our Vacuums as workout, every single day. I’m totally blown away by the power and the pickup capability this BISSELL PowerGlide has and with a 5 year Warranty, I think we can’t go wrong. This is by far the best vacuum that I have owned so far and I love every bit about it from the 16 pound weight that it has to the collapsible handle for easy storage, everything is perfect. I think this time they really looked into what MOM needs and WANTS in a Vacuum and put it all in this nifty super cool and powerful little machine.

We have a few rugs in the house and I really got tired of trying to remove the dog hair from the rugs and already considered tossing them out.. check out the rug above after a quick,really quick run with the BISSELL PowerGlide and all the hair is gone.. WOW.. and I did not have to push and push and push to get it up either, makes my back happy.

Well, my Teen tried it, I loved it and after hubby had his turn his answer was “Dang.. this is the best darn Vacuum EVER.. WOW.. We should buy everyone one for Christmas”…. He truly loved it. He raved about it to his friends at work.. YUP.. guys do talk about vacuums… lol.

I have been excited all week… even yesterday hubby came again said “Watch this” as he went over the carpet…lol… yeah I think its a keeper if we are still excited weeks later and it works great… OHHH with a St Bernard this would come in handy.. my beagle sheds a lot so I totally understand

  4. This looks really nice. Our vaccum is 10 years old and is incredibly heavy so I don’t like using it. Our old house had a central vac, but our new house doesn’t, so it is back to a vacuum cleaner. I keep telling my husband that we need a new one. This one looks great because I can handle 16 pounds and like that it is easy to move around. I like that it is purple too. 🙂

  11. Wowsers look at all that pet hair. I have a Bissell and absolutely adore it. It does a great job (better than my previous vacs). I love that the canister is removable!
