It’s the time of the year where every office and every family has Holiday get-together and everyone wants to bring a healthy quick dinner dish. Of course this year you want to bring something different, something fun and something that will be the hit of the party. Luckily you have me, I found a super tasty holiday appetizer strolling through Walmart the other day, they actually had a Demo and I just couldn’t help but bring a few boxes of the new SeaPak Shrimp Spring Rolls home with me, they were that delicious. They are the perfect size for an appetizer and paired with fun dipping sauces will make every party a hit.

The Shrimp Spring Rolls are super easy to make, just toss them in the oven at 450F for about 15 minutes, turn if you like them crispy on both sides, half way through cooking time and voila, they are done!! Crispy, crunchy and just delicious. They do come with a dipping sauce, but I wanted to make something special, something people would remember, yet simple.

Mango Salsa Dipping Sauce & Cherry Orange Dipping Sauce

Mango Salsa Dipping Sauce

  • 1 mango
  • 1/2 jalapeno pepper
  • handful of cilantro
  • 1 small onion

Toss everything into a blender and puree till it’s smooth; no extra liquid needed and it will be the perfect consistency for dipping.

Cherry Orange Dipping Sauce

  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup orange juice

Toss everything into your blender and puree; takes only a minute but totally had this sweet and sour thing going on.

The dips turned out amazingly delicious and refreshing; not heavy at all and the perfect compliment for the SeaPak Shrimp Spring Roll. The flavor of the Shrimp Spring Roll still came through and the Mango Salsa gave you a fruity tangy taste where as the Cherry Orange Salsa gave you a refreshing sweet and sour taste. Both are yummy, both are simple and both are full of fresh flavor and vitamins; no sugar or fake stuff added.

My favorite was the Cherry Orange dip; hubby loved the Mango Salsa dip and needless to say, both dips along with the SeaPak Shrimp Spring Rolls were gone in no time. Which one would you prefer?

There you have it, a simple, delicious and amazing appetizer that will have you be the star of the party and people will be talking for months to come. I bet you will be asked to bring this dish to every party from now on. To be honest, I wouldn’t mind bringing this to every party at all. Takes no time to make, it’s affordable and delicious, what more do I want?

The SeaPak Shrimp rolls were perfect, crunchy and I had a full shrimp in almost every bite, which totally surprised me. The flavor combination between the shrimp and the veggies, seasoned perfectly, is just addictive and once you start eating one you can’t stop. Make sure you have extras on hand, because they will fly off the plate in no time.

For more information or Appetizer ideas, be sure to visit SeaPak on the web, or follow on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest  You can grab your box of SeaPak Shrimp Spring Roll or any other SeaPak product at your local Walmart nationwide.

I think they are a great Holiday Appetizer, but don’t take it just from me; the Ladies Home Journal has the SeaPak Shrimp Spring rolls listed as "The 15 Best Frozen Appetizers to Serve at a Party": Check it out and the Today’s Show was even talking about the Shrimp Spring Roll the other day; check it out HERE.

What will you dish up at your next Party? Would love to hear it and #PakTheParty

I am all in for anything that is easy and quick for last minute guests. I think I would prefer the Cherry Orange dip, but would make both to give them a try. I would not have thought of using the cherry pie filling and orange juice together to make the sauce. Thank You for sharing the recipe!

This sounds great for me to make tonight. It’s my son’s last day of school before the month long winter break, so it would be nice to make something different than usual for dinner. This sounds perfect.
